In COVID-19 Pandemic, I really understand this situation. Eden Beach resort& Spa handing with safe&sound.
Since I called to hotel and talked with ‘Khun Benjamas’ she answer all my questions.So, When we step into the property, I got warm welcome with professional way from Front desk staff especially ‘ Khun Junji’, certainly during the way into the room ‘Khun Smart’ is really really friendly, he is gem of Eden Resort! The resort is huge with great design from Bamboo architecture! Lucky us, we had the room upgrade from Superior room to deluxe room pool access. I would say room is neat& clean from housekeeping team guarantee by SHA! and all of them always greeting us with lovely smiles :)
Just one point that I would mention is breakfast. The breakfast is delicious& great presentation from chef but!!!!!! the staff in breakfast area ruined my morning, she not feeling welcome and not smiling at all. She never asking us prefer anything else more while another table she did! Sorry, I don’t have her name( LGBTQ+)
Anyway, I would give 5/5 for the property. If I have chance to going to Phang-nga, I would thing ‘Eden Beach resort& Spa’

Excellent service up on check in helpful and fast. The room was clean the bathroom was to small but if you consider the huge and beautiful main pool there is no need for a big one. We stayed in a deluxe room with pool access. It was a smaller side pool.
The breakfast fast was good everything on hand what to expect in a 5star. Despite the Covid situation and some facilities closure I can recommend Eden.

On those hard pandemic time it was really lovely stay here with helpful and smiley staff. Room are beautiful, we get upgraded ! And swimming pool wow! I
Breakfast, à la carte, was huge and really delicious especially appreciated the lovely yogurt.
recommend come here!

The hotel is photogenic - to the point where expectations were high. I’d rate it about a 3.5. Rooms are small and feel cheap, though I appreciate the vision. Selling everything, including the hair dryer rattan bag, seems a bit desperate. Checked in to an empty hotel and was placed in the room right next to the other only guest. Breakfast was not bad.

Very nice place with a lot of potential, however,
There are some major issues that people need to be aware prior to decide staying there:
Management/ reception: the working staff is quite nice and trying his best to provide service to customers. The major issues seems to be from the management side who looks not interested. The hotel is clearly on understaff mode and this goes with major impact on services:
- dont expect to relax near the pool and be able to order a drink or food from there. You will have to walk to the bar/ restaurant, if you are lucky you will find one staff to take order, otherwise walk more toward the coffee shop to finally find some staff for helping you.
- The pool bar was opened only once during our 8 days stay. Pity, as many customers that time did enjoy and ordered drinks until 9:30pm that time.
Other days, the hotel seems to have only one staff able to make coktails, be patient then during the short happy hour from 5pm to 6pm.
-restaurant : the wait for food can be very long or sometime is ok. There are clearly unconsistencies on this matter too. Sometimes we waited 45min for some dishes, sometimes only 15min. We saw some customers waiting 90minutes for a pizza and some green curry rice and refusing the food and complaining about the waiting time. No reaction from management.
- on our side, the hotel failed to provide service on additional bed the first night we stayed, despite having paid the 6400 thb ( 8 nights x 800Thb for extra kid bed) directly at the reception for it from the first day.
When we asked them to fix it the next day and compensate for the 800thb paid for the first night with no bed provided, the management gave us 2 vouchers for non alcoholic drinks ( count 60thb for each voucher)!! I had to insist on being reimbursed the 800thb for a service clearly not provided by the hotel, to be reimbursed when I did our checkout.
- breakfast buffet can be much better with adding variety: there are 10 types of bread but 1 type of " assorted" fully processed cold cut, 1 type of cheese ( was the same cheese over the 7 breakfast we did have there), etc....
Time to time they could transform one of the egg stations ( there are 2) into a pancake one, kids would love it!
the breakfast is becoming boring after 1 day.
Unfortunately it is difficult to say that we will come back despite the beauty of the resort. For equivalent prices you can find much better services in similar facilities.
