Calidad del sueño
Opinión escrita el 27 de Abril de 2017
Acogida calurosa. Habitación perfecta, sencilla, limpia y decoración discreta. Jacuzzi en la habitación. Restaurante, buena calidad y buen sabor. Un solo bemol, quizá el servicio era un poco seco, no obstante amables y profesionales. Recomendable al 100%.
The worst restaurant we tried this year, but the best spa.

We had the feeling that the food was industrial. We did not like the red inner walls, we were sad to see customers going to dinner in shorts.
The spa in the park is fun, and the massages are great and absolutely professional.
Great food but no hot water in the morning !

Great hotel and a stop on your way to the south of France. It was our third time and the restaurant was good as expected, good quality for a reasonable price. Just a pitty we did not get warm water when we took a shower in the morning. For 150 € a room without breakfast that is the least you can expect to get. The answer at the reception was it is fixed now when checking out!
The renovation is beautiful but the pool next to the railway tracks is not ideal from a sound perspective
This is a review for the Disabled Room user
Opinión escrita el 27 de Octubre de 2019
As a wheelchair user I was pleased to see they have disabled rooms - I think they have at least two. The room we were allocated is at ground floor level (I suspect the hotel has no elevators) and faced onto the gardens that are at the front of the hotel.
I would say the room is adequate. For me in a wheelchair, so bringing my own seat, no problems - for my wife no comfortable seating. No door, just a curtain, into the bathroom (which is adapted well). Space - is just enough any smaller and we would have struggled and this is not a long stay room. The real negative is that it's a dark room with just one window to the front which is under a covered walkway and looks out onto the main entrance/front gardens of the Hotel and Restaurant so if you have the curtains open and lights on (which are needed) you're in a goldfish bowl!
We only had one night as a quick get away and our focus was the restaurant so all in all it worked!
Good Beaujolais surprise but they could fix a few things

Let's get the tops out of the way at once, ie superb restaurant (with a delicious, affordable daily dinner special, plus a very nice breakfast offering), and a beautiful, brand new spa which I unfortunately had no time to check out.
So I will absolutely go back but a few things surprised me: staff, while helpful, were a bit grumpy-looking (or is it shy?), to the point where I started wondering about the general level of management and work happiness at this place. Also, you have to LOVE red, my room was full of it, and it hurts the eye after a while. This was not helped by the lighting, very aggressive, white ceiling spot lights everywhere, including right on top of my bed (ouch!) with no stand-up, dimmer lamps for night reading. My bathroom also had a persistent post-shower stench, but in all honestly I flagged it up only on departure after a 3-day stay, so perhaps it's fixed already, but it is still surprising for a hotel of this level. Lastly, the small bar/lounge area, where I worked several hours in a row, really deserves a more comfortable couch or two.
Lovely grounds, and of course vineyards and nice villages all-around. So again I will go back, but some things could be easily fixed (Note: I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms and visited a Premium one, which looked stunning ... no more red!).
