Walking distance to city. Easy and cheap parking. . Within 5 minutes on the highway. Stayed in the Villa. Well equipped and modern apartment. Free use of hotel facilities (swimming pool and sauna). Reception 24/7 available staffed with service oriented employees.

Nice hotel with a very accomodating service

We came to Landau to visit the Palais des Étoiles for their New Year’s Dinner Show. The hotel has a very friendly service. The rooms are nice and clean, but not as big as they appear on their website. We had a nice room in the second floor with view on the adjacent lake. The bed is very comfortable and the bath-room offers sufficient space. The breakfast buffet that was offered the next day left no desires open. The choice of food, hot or cold, the different sorts of breads and the whole set-up were inviting and delicious. As the hotel had a lot of guests they could have used a second coffee machine. The pool area is nice, but you need to get towels and a bathing gown as well as a coin for the entrance to the pool area at the reception. As we were not told that there are no towels available in the pool area I had to walk up twice to get them. Entering the pool area is not very nice as it appears like a public swimming pool with changing cubicles and lockers for your stuff for which you will need a coin (1 or 2 Euro piece) to be able to use them. You also have a nice wellness area, but it certainly could use some changes as it is kept very functional with no flair of wellness at all. Good about the area is that they offer the possibility of a small outside area which is perfect after session in the sauna. All-in-all we can only recommend this hotel

Good hotel - great restaurant

We were there for 1 night as a stopover to our final holiday destination. The hotel is quietly located near a park. There is ample parking. We had dinner in the hotel. The restaurant was great. The room was clean and they serve a great breakfast.

This was our second time in the Parkhotel in Landau. Again, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and and the modern rooms with free wifi without needing a password, a safe that really was easy to operate (this is not always the case!) and good matresses. The breakfast is a treat. Unfortunately we arrived after a day of 30+ temperatures. Although a small ventilator was provided, the room temperature made it difficult to have a good night of sleep. The management is aware of the problem and in a nice letter in the room explained what it is trying to do to alleviate the heat in the rooms. This hotel can definitely be recomended, also because of its location at a walking distance from the beautifull center of the city. However, if you expect a heatwave, you may think twice.

the hotel is well maintained the staff helpful and friendly, The room was comfortable ,well set out and clean, A nice touch was an easter choc bunny. the restaurant was closed on sunday . we ate there on the monday the meal was first class as was the service. the breakfast was buffet style and varied . A very pleasent experience .
