1 bedroom with sofa pull out and 2 baths wasn't large, but very usable. Room was very clean but rather dated. Very friendly, helpful staff. great for a short family vacation. The pool area and slides were quite nice. I liked that areas were separated enough to allow for a little privacy.

Great service from the GM Soren Jensen to Front Desk Manager Patty Jensen and their entire staff. We are always treated like royalty when we come and our room is immaculate and ready for our stay. We love coming to The Cancun!

I stayed for 4 days/3nights in a 1 bedroom unit. We enjoyed our stay very much, and think it is very well suited for families or folks wanting to stay off Strip but still be relatively close to it. The unit had a full kitchen, so we ordered pick-up from the local Smith's just down the road (less than a mile). We also tried the pool restaurant for a quick afternoon snack not wanting to leave the pool. Pool has lifeguards, and was clean. Wifi in our condo was just fine, no issues. However, could only connect 2 devices at a time - or so it would seem. One suggestion: Have ONE assigned spot per unit, then good luck to everyone else. Sucks having to walk all over the place to find a spot and then get back to your condo. We would come back again if we were looking to stay off strip or if we had kids/family with us and wanted amenities and comfort of home.

This Resort has a beautiful Mayan themed pool. Problem: Pool closes too early. Activities are geared towards family with children. No water exercise classes or yoga classes for adults. Rooms are dated, but Very clean. Beds are comfortable & Linen is clean & of good quality. Stayed in Bldg. 3. Beautiful views of Mountains & close to pool & Front desk. Limited gift shop. Food at restaurant near pool very good & reasonably priced. Outdoor grills available. A Beautiful Garden also in pool area. Staff friendly.

Spent 6 days at the resort which we have visited several times previously. Pool/ water slide area is one of the main draws to the resort to keep our kids occupied while we work remotely. However due to staffing shortages, the water slides were alternated. The pool also closes at 7:30 pm which was an issue . Its 105 degrees, I'm on vacation, its still daylight outside, my kids want to swim until at least 9 or 10 like most places. Instead they just watch TV in the room. I can watch TV at home. Cockroaches on the bathroom counter, the kitchen, the elevator in building 1. Numerous holes, cracks in the room construction- behind cabinets, the bases of the cabinets, etc.. where the creepy crawlies enter. From the prior reviews of 'we take pest control very seriously' its obviously a failed effort. Technology offerings do not cater to remote working/ business travelers. The standard wi-fi the resort offers is absolutely worthless. Ran speed tests from the room and it clocks in at 0.5MBS download and 0.125mbs upload. A chisel and rock is faster than the 'free' internet. We did upgrade our internet everyday which was ok for remote working, but had numerous dropped connections, etc... Had to tether my laptop thru my remote wifi several times for meetings as connections were unstable. Don't mind paying more if it works well.
