Not worth the money. There are far better Hilton family hotels in Las Vegas. I am Diamond member of HHonors and an avid fan of the Hilton family hotel brands, including the Doubletree. Apart from the customary Doubletree cookie upon arrival, there is nothing that makes this one stand out from the crowd. Here are a number of things that are wrong with this hotel: - The hotel advertises that it is undergoing renovation, though at no point does the website states that the pool is closed. This was annoying as we wanted to spend time outside at the pool. - Our hotel room (room 344) had a phone transmitter right outside of the bedroom window. - The room featured an old-fashioned aircon unit that could not be turned off until we got maintenance to sort it. - Closet space: just three hangers when we arrived. - Our room was not serviced once in the three nights that we spent here. Every day we had to come downstairs and ask for fresh towels. - The hotel corridors are filthy and need a good vacuuming. - The hotel elevators had some dubious liquid marks spilled over the floor on one of the mornings of our stay. - Breakfast is a joke: sugary Kellogg's cereals, cheap breads/jams, hard boiled eggs (?), tasteless coffee. What's worse is that all the cutlery and plates/bowls are disposable (so much for being green). - The fitness room, while open for 24 hours which was good when jetlag kicked in and we were awake at 4am, has a water fountain which was not topped up despite repeated requests. - The wifi both in the lobby and in the rooms may be free but it is painfully slow. - The $15 food and beverage credit that was mentioned to us on check-in was not valid 3 days later. The credit does not roll over, it would have been nice if the staff mentioned that on check-in too. - Diamond status got us nothing in terms of perks here. Not even a free bottle of soda with the $15 credit which was cancelled after day 1. Just the standard two bottles of water and cookies on check-in. And the standard "thank you for your loyalty" comment. - The location of the hotel itself is ok, just a 20-minute walk along Flamingo to the Las Vegas Strip and 10-15 minutes south to the Hofbräuhaus, but even in the daytime there are some dubious characters on the sidewalk and you have to have your wits about you. - The staff were ok and mildly cheery, but nothing was offered and every request felt like it was a chore. However, the housekeeping staff were much more upbeat that the front desk staff; it's just a shame they did not service our room in the space of three days. In all, I would spend the $150 a night on a different Hilton property when I next come to Vegas.

Disappointing: Not up to Hilton standards

This hotel was previously a Four points by Sheridan. The property has not been brought up to Hilton standards. The carpet in my room was VERY stained in multiple places. The room did not include a mini fridge or microwave. There was not an restaurant. Breakfast was mediocre (I’ve had better breakfasts at Hampton Inns). The hotel just looked tired.

I cannot fathom why Hilton would put their name on this flea motel. It's positively disgusting. First, the lobby/bar/restaurant area is vacant and dark--so those hotel pics are a bunch of crap. The bar and restaurant are not staffed. The lobby is dimly lit and there is one sad employee there. There are stains on the carpets leading to an elevator which sounds like it hasn't been serviced since the 80's. Next, you'll find stained carpets that blacken your feet in your room. Furniture which looks like termites have been gnawing on it for the past ten years. Holes in the wall. And when you pull back the covers on your bed, get ready to swat away the dead flea-like bugs. Disgusted, I checked out immediately and went to the strip to find more suitable lodging. Hilton responded (once) to my complaint to say the staff assures corporate the elevator is properly serviced and a continental breakfast is served in the morning. No response regarding the bed bugs or condition of the room. I have lots of pics to share, but the TA platform won't let me upload them.

If I could give this hotel a zero I would but that option would mean I couldn’t continue with the review… so it is getting a 1 which it doesn’t deserve. I made reservations for august 2-5 because my sister was in the hospital . I thought I would be able to come home on the 5th. Unfortunately my sister died on the 4th. That evening I talked to the hotel clerk and told her I had to extend my stay to clear out my sister’s belongings and didn’t know how long that would take. I was told “no problem “. The next day I spent clearing out my sister’s belongings and came back to the hotel. I couldn’t get into my room and when I went to a different hotel clerk she told me I was supposed to check out that day. I explained that the previous clerk had told me I could extend my stay. This clerk said “we are sold out”. After much negotiation I was told I could stay that night (it was already 8pm). When I told her I would still need another night because I wouldn’t be leaving until the 7th I was told by her “come back at 10:30 tomorrow and I will take care of you “… The next day she told me “…I tried but all sold out” I asked to speak to her supervisor and she bluntly told me I had 40 minutes to check out. Meanwhile I was able to find out on my own that their sister Double Tree at the airport had availability so I went there BUT I was not given that information from the staff at this hotel. Customer service? I certainly didn’t see any!! Also the pool was green and the breakfast was bananas, apples, oranges, toast, yogurt and muffins. This was a terrible experience for me and my experience with the staff was pretty miserable all the way around. I really can’t believe Hilton is represented by this management. Shame!!


Avoid this hotel at all cost!

This is by far the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. The Good: Hotel Staff super friendly The lobby has been renovated The Bad: The pipes leaked in the parking garage, smelled awful The rooms have not been renovated- extremely dirty, carpet is stained, lights don’t work. Bathroom tub had mold. We had to switch rooms because the bathroom flooded. Flushed the toiled and the water came out the sink 2nd room was just as gross on the 3rd floor- I should have switched hotels at that point but because my son’s basketball team was there we stuck it out another night. The next day 75% of the 2nd floor flooded- causing the rooms on the 3rd floor to smell horrible. Woke up in the middle of the night to find out that our toilet was completely clogged and again not usable. Had to use the lobby bathroom At that point we switched hotels as well as the rest of the team. We never saw anyone working on the hotel or the pipes which makes me question if the rest of the hotel is going to be renovated. I do not recommend this hotel!
