THINGS HAVE REALLY CHANGED AT VENETIAN!!
I am amazed at the way things have changed at the Venetian.. Room was great near the elevator and pool until you opened the curtains...different story. Food at the Grand Lux was not as good as before..I was charged for opening the refrigerator and putting my salad there to keep it cold. I was not aware that if you touched anything in the refrigerator you would be charged a fee. I never even drank anything in there! The crap table was good until the dealers started asking for tips...I have been staying there for years and years. My casino Host was the one saving grace there. Aloha from Hawaii
Great Report-But Greedy Casino
Have stayed here about 10 times. Resort, restaurants and amenities are great, well kept and staffed with good people. The casino has revised table games in small ways to increase their advantage on the players. Like they need to really do this. Love to stay where I play, but that will be changing.
Quick getaway !
DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! We wanted to get away for a short vacay just to primarily shop & dine. We almost canceled our trip due to reading reviews and thought about switching to the Wynn. The reason we chose The Venetian is because we come out more for shopping & dining than gambling and there is so much more to offer here at The Venetian than the others. I want to say I am so glad we didn't change or cancel. The place is still top notch, shopping is good, casino is busy and has a good vibe and the dining & restaurant choices are phenomenal. The whole experience has been great and everyone from check-in to other staff members is nothing but top notch and it is noticeable they are going above and beyond with service. Still here for another night but we will be back soon, great getway.
Anniversary
Was at the venetian for my anniversary trip and everything was great. Service. Cleanliness and entertainment all top notch. Unfortunateldur9ng checkout valet misplace our bags and we were waiting 45 minutes while we tracked down help.
Great rooms, but bring your walking shoes!
Wow, what great suites! It's not often you find such spacious rooms. And the bathroom was just wonderful. I'm a bath girl, so relaxing in the tub was honestly a highlight of the trip (bring bubble bath). If having a nice room is important to you, I'd definitely recommend The Venetian. However, be aware that to get anywhere, you're doing a TON of walking - this place is absolutely huge.
