Pandemic get away
This was a quick getaway during a pandemic.Even though I didn’t get my King Suite the 1st as requested with Expedia (someone over booked) they set me up in a Queen suite as you can see in the 1st pics, then I transferred over to the King Suite which is bigger room. The room is clean although I did bring my own cleaning products to be safe, the room is clean, outside noise didn’t bother me, just the slamming of the neighbor doors. The coffee company they deal with needs to be updated or spoken to cause it’s really bad. Go out around the corner to pick up your own coffee. I will return, excellent staff Karine and Phillipe, and the Head of Housekeeping!
New and modern facilities
Very nice facility right in the heart of Laval. Close to movie theater, Jean Coutu pharmacy and convenience stores. You can stay here and visit all the tourist spots in Montreal. It doesn't service continental breakfast but there is a great breakfast spot that is only a 10 minute walk called L'Oeuficiel. I definitely recommend.
Nice Place
Stayed her for a week on business. The place was clean and staff was nice. The room was comfortable. The two things I didn’t like was the bathroom, and the walls were slightly thin. However, as for the walls I think my neighbors were just being jerks. For about three hours one night they had their radio blaring. I didn’t like the bathroom for three reasons. 1) It has a window that you couldn’t block off facing the bed. A nice sexy time peep show window. 2) The shower head/fixture was a confusing multiple spout contraption. 3) there was no shower curtain, and so we got water all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast is very minimalistic. It consists of toast cereal oatmeal and fruit. I don’t usually eat breakfast so it wasn’t an issue for me. Other than that it was a comfortable stay. One thing I do want to say though is that the HDMI ports are accessible, so I was able to hook up my Nintendo switch to the TV—which was nice.
Worst stay ever
DO NOT STAY HERE. Though they advertise heated floors, in-room mini fridges, and wifi, our room didn't have any of that. When I asked the desk clerk, she told me that there was nothing she could do, and then refused to call the manager because "I'm not going to bother him on a weekend." To make matters even more invasive and unsafe, they demanded to hold my passport while we stayed with them. My fiancée and I racked up $200 worth of international data costs on our phones due to their internet outage. When I wrote an email requesting that the hotel issue a partial refund to compensate me for the expense and inconvenience, the manager called me a liar.
Sleepless Nights
Beware. The only rooms with 2 beds are facing the noisy street just a few meters away. Traffic noise continued almost the entire night. The boulevard seems to be a commute route with even truck traffic. Even the "white noise" of the room's air conditioner didn't cover it up. We were stuck there for 5 nights and were exhausted physically and mentally when we finally left.
