Opinión escrita el 8 de Septiembre de 2018
We spent five comfortable nights at this lovely enchanting B and B. Our hosts were charming and welcoming . Large bedroom overlooking the garden with a king size bed. Breakfast was a choice of pastries, omelettes, fruit and scrambled eggs ,all delicious .The town centre is a short walk away . Just perfect.
Quirky nice place

Stayed here for one night on our way through France. What a place. Great hosts - superb rooms and lovely gardens with great walks next to the river/canal - would definitely chose this place again. Some good restaurants just 5 mins walk away too.

We went back to the Manoir after nearly four years! The place is as impressive as it was four years ago. Hosts are very friendly and go out of their way for their guests, rooms are very clean and well furnished, breakfast is fabulous with croissants, amazing home-made jam [not just any home-made jam] and much more.
This time we discovered the path which goes from the Manoir to the town center, a 10-min walk by the river Creuse. Very pleasant.
Our hosts gave us very good hints as to what they recommended we should visit nearby the next day. Very useful.
We'll come back again for a treat of a stay and for further exploring the region.
Superb short stay

Stayed for two nights at this beautiful restored property. We had a large room overlooking the garden with huge bathroom. Furnished with lots of quirky antiques giving the place a lovely feeling of individuality and obvious care taken to make guests feel special and very welcome.
Breakfast was lovely home made cooked food with delicious apple compote to complete.
Will definitely return when back in the area .
Can't recommend it highly enough
Living in a restored Manoir house in Le Blanc
Opinión escrita el 1 de Novembre de 2016
My wife and I stayed for 9 days at the Manoir de la Presle. This is our third trip there in as many years. The owner, Ornella, is a wonderfully kind, warm and welcoming person who is also a fantastic cook. Stephan, her husband, helps out during his vacation days. Each year Ornella's English improves in that she is exposed to many other international travelers who only speak English. Similarly, Stephan is exceptionally nice, warm and welcoming although his English is limited. Typically, we stay in one room called Dany which is a large room with wonderful views of the property. The Manoir sits on 17 acres with the usual brood of chickens, ducks, geese and cats. Oh, and then there is Olive, a wonderful hunting dog belonging to Stephan. The rooms are absolutely spotless.
The typical fare for breakfast is a "French" breakfast of bread/croissant, homemade jams and cafe au lait. However, for a few Euros more, Ornella will prepare an unbelievable breakfast that will keep you satiated well to the Noon lunch hour. The eggs are always fresh each morning. There is no elevator but you must climb a beautiful antique stairway to your room. The Manoir is truly exceptional. While in France, it is worth a stay just to unwind in an idyllic small French town. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have in the past. We plan on visiting many more times in the future.
