We liked everything

We liked everything about this hotel. The location is close to a relatively small beach. The area is nice. The young man at reception was always friendly and helpful. The room had a good view, although it was not particularly big. The air conditioning worked well. There is a safe and kettle in the room, although I had to ask twice for tea and milk. The breakfast was good but a bit different to normal due to covid rules. You have to complete a form in advance with your breakfast requests. The things such as fruit come in small bowls, so you may have to modify your request to change the quantities if you stay several nights. The hot drinks machine is very good. The fruit juices were good. It took me a while to understand the parking. There are about eight hotel parking spaces just down the road, opposite the public parking. They could indicate better that these parking places belong to the hotel, as the small signs can not be seen from the road when cars are parked there. There may also be some parking spaces closer to the hotel along the road, depending on availability, plus there is the free public parking. One evening we ate out at the restaurant La Farigoulette, which has an interesting menu and is in easy walking distance
A little piece of heaven

The hotel was perfectly located , right across from the beach and sea, our room had the view of the sea. Le Lavandou downtown was a quick 5 minutes car ride. Yet so close but so quiet. The room and hotel had all the amenities you would expect in the US, breakfast was included, order before 7:00 AM. Room had safe, mini fridge, robes, sleepers, Nuxe toiletries, lots of electrical outlets. Plenty of towels, beach towels were also provided upon request. Staff was very helpful in providing information for possible excursions.
Perfect spot for a beach getaway

We stayed at Hotel de la Fossette just after travel restrictions for Covid 19 were lifted in France. Fabulous family run hotel just a short walk from the beach, with a super friendly team, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was brought to the table, a choice of freshly baked croissants, pain perdu, fruit, eggs, cheese and cold meats. In these strange times, the hotel strive to deliver an excellent guest experience. We also used the hammam which is cleaned after every guest uses it. Highly recommend.
Cosiness and Extreme hospitality

A very charming small hotel. The staff is very friendly, smiling and the most forthcoming, we have ever met during many journeys. Situated a few minutes walk from a nice small sandy beach. Rooms vary much in size and standard. We tried two different types, and would certainly recommend rooms with balcony. Rooms with terrasse is situated slightly below ground-level, and thus some of them might seem a little dark. The breakfast is rather simpel. 4 Stars for the hotel might be a slightly overrated.
Better than first impression

The hotel is small and well kept. You should call before making a reservation and ask about the rooms since the site does not give accurate information. We ordered a deluxe suite with sea view an terasse with reserved parking. The suite was actually just abigger room with a small sofa at the other end. No twin beds as promised. You could see the sea if stuck out your head through the window. No terasse. And this room was not cheap! Fortunately we were given a smaller room with balcony and sea view and were even refunded part of the payment for the strange suite. Our room was on the second floor with quite a few steps to take. Nothing for someone handicapped. Then to the good things. The hotel was well kept and we had a warm welcome and were in fact well taken care of. The breakfast was in fact wonderful, everything fresh and tasty. We had room service and enjoyed it on our balcony. The aircond. worked well but wi-fi not so good. Especially we appreciated the calmness away from the buzz from Le Lavandau crowded beaches and hotels. We would probably pick this hotel again when we come back.
