Excellent having recently open after CV19 lockdown

Stayed here in June 2020 a couple weeks after lockdown reduced in France. Nice room with balcony. Comfortable bed, air con etc. Dining room still closed so breakfast is offered in your room. We decided to have breakfast in town. The river promenade along the marina to town and the beach is close. Along the promenade wide choice of restaurants and bars. Nice town with a small very fresh produce market on the Wednesday we were there. Please we visited.

Huge hotel. Quiete in wintertime

Looks new and well organized. I swear we were three guests in this huge hotel. Mid of February. So we were upgraded. The room was absolutely fantastic. Massive bed, great bathroom ( except for the soap. Low quality cheap soap) and large window looking at the port. I recommend room 107. Restaurant was nice. Well prepared seafood and nice choice of wines. It really is affordable. I imagine summer prices are much higher.

Almost new hotel on the edge of the town - only 5-10 mins stroll to the centre and beach - so a good location. Spacious rooms. Good restaurant. Plenty of car parking. Rather small swimming pool on 4th floor, so not for a family pool/swim day! Best to walk down to the beach or on to la Baule for that.

Only good hotel in Le Pouliguen but a little disappointing

Hotel only open a short while when we stayed there so hopefully some of the following will be sorted. No bathmat in the room and the towels throughout our visit looked worn. Sink plug didn't work but they fixed this the instant we reported it. The balcony wasn't finished. Safe to use but plain concrete floor with paint spill marks and screws on the floor - also rust marks. Again they did the best they could to clear this up but the balcony was very uninviting due to the unfinished decorating. We also had a hole in the ceiling in the bedroom where pipes came through but no doubt all rooms will be finished properly for next season. Excellent parking and lovely garden surrounding the hotel. What was disappointing was the dining room. Huge area filled with utility stackable tables and chairs lined up in rows. Obviously works well for the management in hosting conferences but was devoid of any warmth or character for general hotel guests. Some of the food was very nice but we ordered a meat dish which we simply couldn't eat. The restaurant manager was very pleasant and offered to replace with something else but we decided not to. So our bill was adjusted to one 3 course meal and one 2 course only plus drinks. Fine .... until on leaving we noticed nearly all the other guests were on a 50% off deal! On mentioning to reception they simply said nothing they could do as we didn't have a groupon voucher! Not the best of client management/relationship building. We ate out after that. Breakfast is self service with trays ie help yourself to everything, the tables aren't laid at all. Choice is adequate. We will stay again since there are no other good hotel choices in Le Pouliguen but there was no recognition by the staff of the hotel's problems and no suggestion of any money off for our next visit! Hotel lacks warmth, the staff are new and appear inexperienced or lacking in loyalty to the hotel. Also to date I have received no reply to the emails sent re our initial booking - eventually I called. Do hope there is a serious improvement for next season otherwise we will return to staying in La Baule.

Hôtel magnifique Très bien situé Chambre économique très spacieuse avec lit king size + canapé Lot bébé mis gracieusement à disposition Petit déjeuner buffet très bien Parking Accès au port du pouliguen a 5 min à pieds de l’hôtel. Pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour aller manger sur le proximité de guerande et du croisic. Bonne situation géographique
