With the dramatic landscape of Lofoten on its doorstep, this is the perfect hotel if you want to explore the wilderness of Lofoten. Our hotel is centrally located in the town of Leknes. Enjoy a good night sleep in our quiet and newly renovated rooms, and start the day with our award-winning breakfast. The hotel is situated close to several of Lofotens most popular attractions. All hotel rooms were renovated in 2017 and have now a contemporary and delicate look. You can enjoy a better meal in the laidback hotel restaurant, Bevares. Good value for money

The Scandic Hotel Leknes is by no means the most modern or luxurious hotel you’ll find, and appears quite frugal in comparison to most other hotels I stayed at. That said, the staff of this hotel is amongst the most friendly, accommodating and service minded staff I have ever encountered. No matter what request we made, the staff displayed a “no problem, we’ll fix it”-attitude. I certainly felt very well taken care of. The breakfast was very good, and more than covered my requirements for what I deem to be a good hotel breakfast. Another great plus with this hotel is that the water pressure in the shower was way better than most hotels provide, and for once I could take a proper shower in a hotel - I’m not too used to that. Most of all, Scandic Hotel Leknes offers good value for money.

This hotel really welcomed me with a great energy between the coworkers at the lobby. It really made the stay! The room had one of the most comfortable beds I have had on a hotel in Norway. Any the location is very central in Leknes and therefore very central in Lofoten. Tasty breakfast.
Good and super breakfast available

Maybe not so iconic as other scandic hotels but definetely a good choice. I really appreciate breakfast, excellent quality and options even if you have to choose the timing during covid restrictions. I suggest this hotel, not cheap ma worth the price

We are a family of 3 whom this year decided to travel on holiday to the northern and western parts of Norway, where we started first in Trondheim, then on to Mo i Rana, further to Narvik, Alta, then Kirkenes, Honningsvåg (and Nordkapp), then Hammerfest, Tromsø, Harstad to this hotel in Leknes, Lofoten, before continuing our journey. We have mostly stayed at Scandic hotels so far in all cities except in Honningsvåg. This hotel is nicely located within the small city of Leknes, close by shops and supermarkets. The service is great and a big, nice Superior Extra suite, made our stay complete for the two nights we stayed. Lofoten itself is spectacular, and well worth a visit during summer, with the fjords, the mountains, lakes and rivers. If you only have time to visit a small part of Norway, Lofoten is definitely worth it.

Great accommodations for being in such a remote location. Great breakfast every day. Just a very pleasant experience. Large open room for the restaurant. Very cozy in the wintertime. Good room service accommodations as well.
