This was our 4th time at this hotel. The past 3 stays were fine which is why we went back. My wife and I were there 4 nights. (1) Fridge didn't work, I had to fix it myself as their maintenance person couldn't be bothered. (2) No cream for our coffee in the mornings. (3) They had no staff working the lounge area on a BUSY Saturday night. (4) I was served raw, uncooked chicken wings. (5) The A/C was overly loud when it was on. Very disappointed in this hotel and brand. We shall not be back for a 5th time

The staff was great and they did the best they could for being short staffed. The room was not that great. There was tape on the wall all over from what we assume was a party, the fridge door would not close however they compensated us for that so thanks, however the shower would not drain and was dirty also our bed cover was torn and stuffing was coming out of it. Unfortunately I feel that I would look elsewhere in the future especially for the cost of the room.
Only one night excellent service

This was a trip to connect with family from out of town. We had a handicap accessible king bed room. The staff was very helpful, especially Robyn at check out. We had a very pleasant experience. We appreciated the no barrier shower! We did have another pleasant experience at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and fixed our drinks to take back to our room. Kentucky did not have a face mask mandate at the time of our booking. We chose to wear face masks due to health issues.
dont stay here!!!

we booked a double queen room and she originally gave us a room with one king bed after going back to the front desk and getting a new room with the double queens we make it to our room there were ants in the air system mold on the walls and the ceiling and an awful smell in both the rooms and the hallways ..also i booked here because i had children who wanted to use the pool and arcade and they were not able to do so due to it being completely cram packed full of people from a wedding reception .also you cant get any sleep there was noise from kids and animals all hours of the night !!!! i would NOT recommend staying here, i should have read the reviews before booking it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.....
"Almost" a good hotel.

The Good: The staff was very nice and helpful! When we had to change rooms, they helped maneuver the cart into the room! Most of them wanted to provide a quality experience! The staff served the food at breakfast, and did a good job keeping the food stocked. The Bad: When we arrived, they gave us the wrong room. We paid extra to get the extra space for our room for the long weekend we'd be staying there. When we told the front desk right away, they told us the room we reserved was no longer available? What's the point of reserving a room if it's just going to be given away??? They compensated us, and got us switched rooms the next day to a room like what we ordered. At breakfast on Friday, they ran out of apple juice. OK, it happens. At breakfast on Saturday, there was still no apple juice and they ran out of orange juice. Uh, what? At breakfast on Sunday, there was STILL no apple juice or orange juice, AND they ran out of milk! These were decently early breakfast visits as well, like 8am! I want to believe the staff was doing everything they could to serve us, given how well they were handling the food, which implies there wasn't enough in stock... for a weekend... a weekend where a massive event was taking place, that literally sold out the hotel, based on the "No Availability" sign on the front desk late Saturday night! How do you not plan for enough breakfast drinks? Or milk for the cereal?! Also on Sunday morning, the front desk worker was missing for around an HOUR! This was during prime checkout times! People literally calling every number they could find around the desk and not able to get ahold of ANYONE, even at corporate! A group of sports tournament families had to leave their info on post it notes with their keyes and simply leave! They didn't want to, but had no choice to get to their tournaments on time! Lastly, the two rooms were in had possibly the hardest mattresses we'd ever slept on in a hotel. A simple soft pillow top or foam topper over the mattress would have made this so much more comfortable. It's not that hard, and very common. I don't understand why this was missing. The Nitpicky: The hotel needed to make a few things clear. For instance, House Keeping will only come by if you specifically call and request them to. Not a big deal if you are only staying one night, but the Front Desk saw we were staying several days. It would have been nice if they simply told us and not rely on us to see a strip of paper taped to our wall. Also the AC units are the classic under-the-window hotel AC units. However, they have been re-wired to use a thermostat on the opposite wall. I didn't see/realize this the first night, and had to literally unplug the unit from the wall to not freeze that first night. Simply putting a message over the old control panel of "Thermostat On Opposite Wall" would have saved me frustrations. Saturday night we were told to leave any trash we wanted to get rid of outside our door and they would come pick it up around Midnight. When we checked out Sunday - nearing the 11am deadline - the two full trash bags were still there not picked up. They had an arcade... but it was broken down. They had a basketball court... but the doors literally had a board nailed to it to keep people out. Three's just so many things that could be nice about this hotel, but aren't. I could also complain about the dingy carpet or florescent lights in the hallway making this hotel feel like it was stuck in 1997, but that's the least of this hotel's concerns. We wanted to like this hotel. We tried to be cordial to everyone, and once again the staff - when they were there - was very friendly and tried to make things right. But I feel like there is too many things done "almost". We've "almost" given them the room they reserved the first time. We've "almost" provided everything for breakfast. We've "almost" made sure there was adequate staff at the front desk on a Sunday. We've "almost" upgraded the ac units. We've "almost" provided a high quality, comfortable bed. And "almost" issues feel very much like a management issue.
