Disappointed with advertised amenities.

Disappointed with advertised amenities. Managers reception was no more than a bag of chips. Breakfast was shut down earlier then publish times. Rooms are not serviced daily. Restaurant selection is extremely lacking. Employees were full of excuses but no solutions. Embassy suites used to be head and shoulders above the rest, however they have become nothing more than a Holiday Inn express.

The bar tender Lazarus kills it every stay. Hard worker that gets along well with the guests. This individual deserves a raise for being able to create a great atmosphere for guests to enjoy their stay
Nightmare in room 411
Reviewed 11 january, 2022
We checked into our room via the Hilton Honors member Ap- we have been members for over 3 decades. We checked into our room again when we got to the hotel because my husband prefers an actual key. We were given room 411, when we got to the room we saw an old fan outside of our room which was clue #1- we were in for a nightmare. We opened the door to the overwhelming odor of stale cigarette smoke, Clue#2. When we entered the room it was obvious not only had the room not been cleaned, but it our daughters thought it may have been a crime scene. There was personal debris all over the floor, bobby pins, dust bunnies, we don't even know what, etc. But the doozy of them all were the multiple, false fingernails strewed in different rooms. Windows and mirrors were covered in handprints and smudge We did not even want to venture a guess at the wet, white stain on the couch in the living room. No shock here, but when we went to call down to get another room (who would ever stay in a room like this?), the phone was blank and did not work. The living room phone did work, but had another room number on it. Front desk was apologetic and gave us another room. Really? No family would ever stay in this room. Why was it given to us? The hotel was mostly empty as it was at the end of the holiday season. That was all Hilton did for us- move us from an uninhabitable room that we could have called the health department on. I have attached photos for your enjoyment. Hotel is pretty, breakfast is good. Hotel staff is all unmasked despite rise in Covid cases and high transmission rates of the Omicron variant. They use a stange, sticky type of cleaner. It was on all the tables in bar and eating areas. We all noticed it, and it's not a good thing. Bartender was very nice and friendly. $10 parking fee in nonsense. It's just a large parking lot in an area that is a business park. Nobody can take public transportation here, it's not in the downtown area at all.
Needs a good renovation

This hotel at one time was probably beautiful. The room needs to be renovated and updated. The shower was not cleaned to the level that is should have been. The bed was very hard and my feet seemed to be higher then my head.
Worst Embassy I’ve ever stayed at
Reviewed 7 january, 2022
They charge your card without you authorizing the card for a parking fee. Geeez it’s not about the money, it’s ethics. Be up front about what you are doing and tell someone. None of my requests for extra towels or extra pillows for surgery ever arrived in my room before my stay when they plainly assured me they would be there and never arrived once we got in our room. The rate was too high for lack of service. We’ve stayed at the Glo by Best Western and the Avid for $80 a night and highly recommend them. All accommodations were in our room before check in, staff was very upfront with all charges and made sure we authorized them. Embassy was very deceitful. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Beds were very uncomfortable, mold in the shower. It was a nightmare. I’ve complained to both Booking.com and also to the Embassy with no results.
