Wonderful staff

We were very impressed with the staff. Barb was absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for anything better. The facility was very clean and the staff was always working to make it happen. Our room was very spacious.

Just Don’t - Seriously

Reviewed 16 february, 2022

I was booked here by my company for separate stays about a week in duration each time. This place is so consistently inconsistent I can’t even explain it. One room- no ironing board and the iron looked as if someone cooked a steak on it. I would have simply asked for the board but most of the FD staff really give off the impression that they just don’t want to be bothered. Next stay- had an ironing board but not a working fridge. Nightly trips to the ice machine was fun for a week. Lights in the bathroom kept going off- but if you tap it just right you’ll get about 10 minutes of light before it shorts out again. Walls near the tub are soft (or damaged terribly) from water. A few consistent things; there’s no exhaust vent in the bathroom so it’s a shower and room sauna combo. Not a big deal, but certainly annoying. Each of my three beds have sank so bad you wake wishing you had time to set a chiropractor appointment. First floor rooms smell like mold and mildew horribly. All the shower handles have been so lose you tread very carefully turning it on and off so it doesn’t fall right off. Same with the towel bar (wiggle, wiggle, whoops!) There are literally cameras everywhere and in some spots I’ve seen two (one right next to each other) not to mention the moving robot style one right above the desk when you check in. Not sure yet if these actually makes me feel safer - or more worried. The upside and plus-side is that the rooms (each one I’ve had) has been clean. The housekeeping crew is apparently dedicated so for that I’m thankful. Honestly, shame on Choice Hotels for this one. Things (yes, there’s more) have just been blatantly ignored, let go, added up and none of this was an instant overnight process. The bad news is - that becomes the guest’s problem. The fellow reviews are telling you the same… so just don’t. If I had a choice I wouldn’t have either.

Avoid it at all costs. Dirty.

Our room was dirty with used bed linen. The towels were changed but the shower floor was and is filthy. The drawers had bread and cheese whiz in them. The TV remote was missing and so was the hair dryer. They semi cleaned it the second night and then didn't even change the towels. Aaron, the night clerk had an attitude when I called about it and said, "If you want fresh then you can come down and get them". There were no towels in the pool area when we tried it earlier. What poor management this place has.

Horrible front desk staff

Reviewed 24 june, 2021

The rooms were ok. The air conditioner did not seem to work quite right. Our room was very humid. It was clean enough and the beds were comfortable. That is were the positiveness of our stay ended. The front desk clerks, there were two different ones, were extremely rude. They acted as if we were bothering them any time we interacted with them. We stop down one afternoon to ask for more towels. We were told that housekeeping was locked and that we were told at check-in that we had to request housekeeping. We were not told that. We never did get any towels. I asked one day if their air conditioning was broken. I was told that it was not. They didn't run it in the lobby which was not a good first impression. I went into the fitness room to see what machines they had so I could use them the next morning. The temperature in there was around 85 degrees. I asked the front desk about that and she rudely told me why would they run the air when no one uses the fitness room. I told her that of course no one used it, it was too hot in there. When we went to check out, the front desk lady was in the back clearly sitting on her phone. We rang the bell that was on the counter. When she came out, she grabbed the bell and basically slammed it out of our reach. I would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone EVER!!
