Very good hotel, excellent staff met our family's needs

We stayed here on both ends of our first airplane trip with our 2 yr old. We traveled for 12 days and left our car here to take advantage of the free 7 days of parking with an overnight stay. The rooms are nice, recently updated. But it's the staff that really shown. They were helpful and knowledgeable. On our return flight we'd woken at 3am and flown 4 hours before arriving in BWI. We wanted to stay the night and recharge before making our long drive home the next day. We were dead tired and showed up at the hotel at 11:30am. Nonetheless they were able to get us in to a room quickly for an early check in and even provided some snacks from the breakfast bar. We were all able to nap and have an excellent day of recovery (our 2 yr old included) because they saw our need and met it. We plan to make this our regular hotel for BWI flights - we definitely recommend!

The only reason I choose to stay one night close to the airport is to have a good night sleep before heading the road. This hotel is nice and clean but I did not slept well. The dam AC kept turning on and off. I hate when when you cannot control the AC. Is it just me? How come nobody mentioned this issue in their reviews. It also happend to me recently at a Holiday inn Espress. Next time I will call the hotel before booking and ask one can control the AC thermostat, so it does not shot down at night.
Comfortable and Safe Airport Hotel

The Fairfield Inn at BWI is one of the closest hotels to BWI. We decided to book here instead of the other Marriott hotel brand hotels nearby, due to the great reviews and friendly customer service that I received even before our stay. Before arriving, I was able to call the hotel about their amenities and limitations during COVID-19, and Sue was extremely helpful, friendly, and provided excellent customer service over the phone and in person. There was another front desk agent from Jamaica that was extremely friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile for any guest. Feeling appreciated as an elite member definitely makes this hotel a must, and this is something that Sue and this other team member in this hotel did during our stay.
Their studio king room meets the needs of any business traveler. It is quite spacious and the bed is quite comfortable as well. The water pressure from the shower head was decent, and enjoyed their Tea Tree products as well. If you want more space, I would highly consider booking their one bedroom suite, especially for large families and if you are also having meetings. Also, parking is free and extremely safe in this location. The hotel offers a light grab and go breakfast option, but this is better than nothing. Finally, the hotel was able to troubleshoot issues with the internet extremely quickly, so I was content with the level of service provided.
I highly recommend this hotel for future stays. Not only it is close to BWI, but there are a lot of great restaurants nearby as well. I will definitely consider it when I fly out of BWI in the near future.

I’ve been a Marriott traveler for a long time now, and I will tell you Fairfield has quickly turned into my favorite brand, and this hotel is a shining example. Fairfield has come a long way as a brand from what it was 10 years ago, it does not feel “cheap” like it used to, but rates are still very reasonable. I was notified by the Bonvoy app in the early morning hours of my arrival that my room was ready. I was able to check in extremely early, with no hassle. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and amply sufficient. The standard Marriott TV package is featured, with the ability to stream Netflix, HBO GO, and others, along with a decent spread of cable channels. Large bathroom with generous shower stall in my King Room. The only annoyance is the towels are not easily accessible when stepping out of the shower, so don’t forget to leave one on the ledge for yourself. Due to COVID, breakfast is limited, but you can assemble your own to go bag with a fair number of individually wrapped items, cereal, yogurt, bagels, fresh fruit, and the like were all available. There is an indoor pool and gym available on the first floor. Hotel is near several restaurants, Chick Fil A, Potbelly, Chipotle, Jimmy John’s, Chili’s, Glory Days Grill, and Starbucks could be walked to in under 10 minutes. There is also a Panera, Wendy’s, and Royal Farms a short drive away. Less than five minute drive to BWI Airport, but no discernible plane noise. Will definitely return if my travels bring me here again.
