DO NOT STAY HERE - Terrible Service, old worn out non-functional hotel and no offer to help
Reviewed 14 july, 2022
This is NOT NOT a 4* hotel, more like a 1-2* hotel. Check in was 1+ hour, rooms are dated, very worn and dated and broken. Apparently their AC’s don’t work on hot days … what? Yes they have air water cooled machines not real Coolant based so they cannot keep up on hot days and they really do nothing but blow air. In the summer smouldering heat really. Complaints to front desk go on deaf ears they don’t care. I wasn’t the only one complaining there was at least two more gents in the lobby going crazy about the lack of care or service. VERY VERY VERY poor service and horrible staff attitude making jokes about you complaining in Portuguese little do they know my staff is understood the whole conversation and reluctantly told me that they were making fun of the situation. DONT stay here period end of story. Besides you miss the real Lisboa as you are near nothing it was a bad choice and will NEVER repeat.

An OK hotel

Hôtel was ok . No reply to repeated emails I sent before arrival. The checkin process was very slow. The Air condition didn’t work well. Breakfast was ok and basic ..nothing was particularly tasty .. Room cleaning was not up to the mark … tea coffee in the room was not refilled Being a four star they didn’t even provide a complimentary bottle of water. On the whole just an ok hotel to stay at if u want to be close to the airport

Nothing wrong with this hotel, except that the prices and star rating did not match the property

The location is good, close to subway, and relatively close to down town. The staff are a friendly and helpful lot. Location is good close to a good subway system and not too far from down town. The property really need an upgrade, not only a renowation - a refurbishment would be good for this place, you could see the wear and tear in most all places. A small bar without windows, a fitness room that really had seen better days. The restaurant where they served breakfast was too small and understaffed to handle the breakfast traffic on busy mornings. As for prices the price for a room here was close to some of the cheaper 5 star hotels in Lisboa for this period, while this property was closer to a 3 star than a 4 star they trade under.

Very happy with our stay

We spent 5 nights at the Ramada by Wyndham in Lisbon and were very happy with our stay. The entrance to the Olaias metro station is in the same block as the hotel, so taking the metro from the airport to the hotel was easy and economical. The room had conveniently located USB plugs for charging our phones. Although quite small, the room was spotless and maintained well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The day we checked out of the hotel, the metro workers were on strike, so the bellman called a cab for us. He also offered some suggestions for our upcoming drive to Algarve. A grocery store and self-serve laundry are a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, yet with the metro so close, you can get to many locations in the city within a few minutes. A breakfast buffet was available (for us at an additional charge). It had a great assortment of breakfast foods including scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, pastries, juices and coffee, yogurt, and cereals. In the evening, personal pizzas were available for purchase in the bar. The only reason I do not give it a 5-star rating is that the hotel did not have a restaurant available in the evening and we found it challenging to find dining nearby.

Great Location , Great Views

There is a metro station a few steps away from the hotel entrance. The red metro line that serves the station not only goes straight to the airport, but also passes the Parque De Nacoes development with an Oceanarium, a Cable Car, a mainline train station, a shopping centre open till midnight every day and more. The same line also has interchanges with all other metro lines for access to the city centre. Thanks to a free upgrade to an executive room on the 14th floor, we had great views of the Tagus river and the Vasco Da Gama bridge in the distance. The room was spacious and a lot more comfortable than what we have got for the same money in the city centre. We arrived on my birthday and once the hotel figured that out, they left some chcolate cake and a candle in the room which we found when we got back in the evening. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of tasty food items, both cold and coooked. We had a great stay and we would recommend the hotel to others.
