Exactly what you would expect for the price (£114 for 3 nights-bargain for the period we were visiting). Booking was shared bathroom but had a private one instead. 15 minutes away from the town centre, recommend for a cheap value stay. Good for a sleep and a shower close to the centre. Thank you!

Low-budget

For travelers on a budget, this is it. Clean but not very nice. Old furniture, shared bathrooms, a kitchen and some common space. Nothing special, but it is cheap and the location is good. Might be a little bit difficult to find the entrance. Friendly staff.

DISASTER! avoid!

building was good, historical. I have slept in low cost hostels in Granada that was in the same old buildings BUT it was at least nice and clean. this one ? common, IN CENTER OF PORTUGAL SO ROTTEN BATHROOMS ? on men's one, no locker, poor Wi-Fi. Really, I was sleeping sleep bag because I was scared to catch some disease. AVOID AT ALL COST! better to wait for airbnb confirmation even to midnight if you are booking on a go. and I have seen terrified faces of EVERYONE that I have met in this hostel. no one will ever return to this place.

Room from CSI

Honestly if you're looking for something extremely basic, this is fine. On our arrival, we were nearly mugged. Be extremely cautious if arriving at night, wear passports on person. The actual hotel is a bit grubby, not the best amenities but staff were friendly which is always nice. Just be careful on arrival as it is down a dark alleyway. Probably wouldn't recommend.

Bad choice-cockroaches.

We had problem even find the hostel, because the entrance is on the first floor where you can get by stairway out of some chinese shops backyard, and it look like you're going to somebody's private house. The receptionist didn't speak a word english and 'poquito espagnol'. He didn't have our reservation there and we spend almost half an hour to get agreed on the room. Room was quite spacious and one can say that the furniture replies the cost category of the hostel. Shared bathrooms where quite clean. Worst thing was that the room was full of cockroaches, that were firstly hidden, but when we got back in the evening, they were EVERYWHERE. We tried to kill some, but they are surprisingly fast and very resistant in the first place. Wi-Fi connection should have been there but we didn't manage to set it up even with the help of receptionist. He managed to get the TV working (after spending cca 40 min. in our room) and he didn't understand even after several attempts, that we don't need the TV. Only positive is walking distance from city center (15 minutes) and quite low price, but I'm sure that you can find a much better (or at least less insect-invaded) room in Lisbon.
