Maintenance man was awesome.
Opinión escrita el 24 de Junio de 2021
Enjoyed our stay.
There were a couple of issues with the shower/tub and the room door that were quickly resolved by the maintenance man Marcos (?).
He was especially courteous and eager to help.
We very much appreciated his friendly face and demeanor.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Very comfortable beds & nice location

I just completed two separate stays at this hotel in November 2019 while on business. Each stay was for two nights.
Checkin was quick however a small line does often form in the evening hours. No charge for early checkins! I checked in just after 1 pm however I always recommend high floors as they are quieter than ground level.
The King executive room features a king bed with pull out love seat couch, microwave & refrigerator. Pillows are king size which I love! The shampoo and body wash provided in pump bottles smell great.
My second stay was for a 2 Queen executive room which was actually a longer room than the King and featured a full size dresser along with a pullout loveseat couch, microwave & refrigerator.
All rooms include a Kuerig coffee maker and iron/ ironing board along with an extra set of bedding in the closet for the pull out couch.
Breakfast was better than expected. I usually stay at Best Western hotels which also offer a hot breakfast however this Holiday Inn Express provided far better quality of breakfast sausages and scrambled eggs. Only thing missing were potato’s.. maybe it’s because I went down at 6am as it opened. They also offer cold items and juices.
Lastly I liked that there was an on site laundry room, indoor pool and spa, as well as an exercise room although my key card wouldn’t open the exercise room :/
The hotel has a large conference room that can be rented out for events and parties. There is a pantry near the front desk that sells snacks and beverages as there are no vending machines.
Overall I love this hotel and it’s location next to grape vineyards, away from all the run down motels and crime on Cherokee Lane. There are finally better options of hotels in Lodi and I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express. I chose not to stay at the Hampton due to all the car break ins reported and it’s location right off highway 99 near businesses where homeless linger around.
Safety Issues and Dirty Premises - We Do Not Recommend!

My son and I checked into the hotel at 9:30pm last Friday night. This hotel sits about a half mile off Highway 99. At the bottom of the exit are restaurants, gas stations, and another hotel. Then the area is dark on both sides of the road with warehouses and fields until the entrance to the Holiday Inn Express. It was hard to identify where to turn to enter the property since the large sign for the hotel wasn't working and was dark as well. When we arrived, there was a huge RV directly in front of the hotel with guard dogs inside barking madly. In the lobby were five other men checking in...two agents were working the desk, both seemed to be pleasant and helpful. All of the men checking in appeared to be hard working from the fields, but unfortunately they were all rude and two of them kept glaring at me...I felt very uncomfortable. The lobby floor was covered with huge dust balls and mud - even behind the reception desk. I warily checked in...and proceeded to the elevator. It was filthy. When we stepped out of the elevator, we proceeded down the hall which was covered with stains and the wallpaper was ripped off the walls all the way down the hallway. We opened our room to a rancid smell. I checked the beds which appeared to be clean, and then we heard a ruckus from one of the rooms. No longer feeling safe, I immediately grabbed my son and our things and went straight back down to the desk. I informed the agent that we appreciated his help, but the hotel was filthy and we didn't feel safe. I handed back my keys and left for the Hampton Inn back at the exit, which was the same price and lovely. I received an email the next morning indicating the agent at Holiday Inn Express did not check me out upon my departure and charged me the full price of the room with no refund. I am an IHG member. I have never had this experience at a Holiday Inn before...very, very disappointing.

Just two of us for a weekend of wine tasting and wanted a good deal. This hotel is not downtown so about a 10 minute drive to the downtown area. Not marked well on the road, so much construction around the area. The street sign was not lit, but the hotel that sits back a bit has many lights. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet so rate this as a VERY GOOD hotel. Staff was friendly and plenty of breakfast choices.
Not sure what was going on but the carpets in the hotel public areas were filthy. So many stains, spots it was gross. Our room was fine, but something crazy must have gone on and they need to be cleaned more often as the hotel is pretty new!
