This is a beautiful hotel. An oasis of calm with staff who go the extra mile. Beautiful decor, really comfy beds and the best air con ever. It's in a great location to explore London, although it's so lovely it's hard to leave the hotel. Many thanks to all the staff for a lovely visit.

Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were incredible, the room was spotless, the bed was so comfy and the location was great. The room was like an art gallery and staying there was such a special experience. Thanks for making our anniversary one to remember!

What a truly amazing hotel. This place has blown all of our expectations out the window. We have stayed in some amazing hotels in the past, however Batty Langley’s has changed the meaning of top draw in our eyes.
The staff at the hotel are truly the best of the best; welcoming, friendly, dedicated, knowledgeable, personal, human and they genuinely love their jobs and adore the hotel. They loved hearing about where we’d been and were so kind, they even reminded us about the exceptionally hot weather and to drink plenty of water. How amazingly caring is that?
The guy who checked us in was so excited that we had the Earl of Bolingbroke suite, and he couldn’t wait to tell us all about it and the mysterious “secret” room ;-) he was 5 star amazing!
The suite itself was breathtakingly beautiful, it surpassed our every expectation. It was immaculately clean, maintained to the highest standard and just genuinely beautiful. The views were amazing, and it’s lovely to just relax on the terrace after a busy day of exploration.
The food here is just gorgeous, over our 4 nights, we have tried most of the breakfast menu. All of it, delicious and the presentation is outstanding. The room service menu was also excellent, we only had the salmon baguette but that was just beautiful.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, if I could give you the golden button, I would. The location is great, the staff are brilliant, the food is great and everything about this hotel in our eyes is perfection. Thanks for a fantastic and brilliantly quirky holiday, your our new favourite hotel. We don’t want to go home tomorrow!
Hotel refused to refund a disabled and sick guest despite cancelling within the cancellation period. Avoid at all costs!

Do not book at this hotel! I already have a few health problems and recently discovered that I have Lyme disease. I also am isolating due to covid. I sent a message to the property well before the one-day cancellation period, and confirmed I would not stay on my desired dates due to health concerns, tests and subsequent referrals. They assured me that that was okay. Since this, although the booking.com fee was updated to £0, they still charged me the full price! Really sketchy that when a client came to them with a disclosure of disability and health concerns within the timeframe required, their response was pedantic, condescending and stingy. In these uncertain times, with so many restrictions that are possible to get in the way of travel, avoid this hotel at all costs or it will cost you a lot!
Great stay in Shoreditch!

Great experience from arrival to departure.
A good location for exploring Shoreditch, Spitalfields Market & the great restaurants towards the city.
Room was perfect! Spotlessly clean, very spacious and everything you could want.
The only disappointment was the honesty bar being shut due to COVID, but not a fault of the hotel at all.
Service was as expected for a 5 star.
