Rooms are perfect, food for breakfast is nice and overall quality and service is excellent. I attended a function that was very good, excellent friendly staff in a very nice environment. As mentioned rooms are well spec’d and comfortable.

What a lovely surprise!

I had afternoon tea with a friend in Royal Lancaster. I ordered the festive afternoon tea and my friend ordered the vegan festive afternoon tea. I chose the cherry blossom tea infused with rose petals and it was lovely and fragrant. Then the staff placed an opulent gilded stand beside our table and hang the plates of clotted cream, jam, sandwiches and cakes on it. It was so unique and exquisite. My varied collection of sandwiches were really sumptuous. My cakes were luxurious and just to die for. I loved the red velvet cake; the twelfth night cake was really rich and delicious; the chocolate yule log was heavenly and the St. Clement cheesecake was lusciously mouth-watering. They all looked very pretty. The scones (kept warm) were also fluffy and perfect. With Christmas piano music played in the background, the atmosphere was really relaxed, serene and quite refined. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the service was impeccable. At the price of £29 on weekdays and £35 on weekends, it was absolutely good value for money. It was a surprisingly unexpected lovely experience for me and my friend. We utterly loved everything about it! I would definitely come back and have afternoon tea here again!

Workshop at the boardroom of the hotel

The boardroom: The room was a good size of room, that could easily accommodate 8people, with a very nice view of the road and the Park. (at 1st floor) The staff: The staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The Location: The location is central and convenient. The equipment: The equipment of the room was one big screen for meetings, and also 1 printer that everybody could print by connecting with a USB. The Meals served: The meals served were finger food, good quality. Not big portion per person but could keep us until we go out for dinner. The disadvantage: The only disadvantage was the room temperature. Outside it was 0-5*C and inside there was A/C. We told the staff many times that we were cold but no result. We were most of the time with our coats. Generally very good experience.

Truly exceptional, from start to finish

From the moment we were met by the concierge at the door, I cannot in any way fault this hotel, this has to be a firm favourite in London . We were made to feel welcomed, the check in staff were so attentive they explained everything we needed to know about our stay. Allot of hotel staff on reception say have a great stay the difference is this team really mean it. There was nothing that was too much trouble for any of the staff at this hotel. The room was clean, bright , stylish with stunning views of Hyde park & the surrounding areas. Even the in room tea and coffee making facilities shout out luxury. In the current climate with covid you can see first hand that this team go above and beyond to make your environment safe, this hotel is spotless. Each day the room was made up by the housekeeping staff and this was no regular service, when we got back it was as if we had walked back in to a newly cleaned room for the first time. For breakfast in the morning we were shown to our table a corner seat with full glass windows letting you see the natural beauty of Hyde park while eating, again the service is impeccable hot fresh coffee was served with toast while we headed to the buffet. The location of the hotel is quiet just what you need after a long day walking around, the tube is just outside which gives you access to all of London or why not just take a stroll through Hyde park to Harrods or to the national museum, it only takes about 15 minutes and the park is beautiful. So to sum it up there is no better place I would stay in London.

Wonderful Stay

Facts: We arrived early and our room was ready. Check-in was extremely efficient and friendly. Our room was located on the 14th Floor which overlooked Hyde Park. The room was large, immaculately clean and had a Nespresso machine and mini bar. We used the Lounge for drinks and dinner and had breakfast the following morning. Experience: This hotel is absolutely perfect. All staff, without exception, were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food we had at dinner and breakfast was superb. Cannot fault anything and I would highly recommend this hotel.
