Great location and good staff. Very disappointed with the two rooms we stayed in, which were let down by the noisy rooms(117&220). Both were affected by a constant droning noise from air conditioning units located outside.

Beautiful stay - wish I had longer. The staff made my friends birthday a very magical one with added extras at the last minute. They were very accommodating and enjoyed my time there very much. I would stay again
Good value for the location

My Meliá Gold status worked a treat this time and we were upgraded to the Master Suite - room 120. This is located at the back of the building so it is very quiet. It has a very grand ‘front door’! The space inside is excellent with a small entrance lobby (further eliminating any noise from the corridor), opening into a sitting room. There is very good storage and hanging space in the corner. Lighting in this room is terrible. We’ve had this at other Meliá hotels - I think they are taking their environmental credentials too far. I had to use the torch on my phone to read stuff…The bed is super comfy and weirdly lit very well! - we slept like babies. Bathroom is small but nicely done. Shame the towels aren’t nice and fluffy - they seemed a bit worn out. Overall a pleasant large suite to stay in - just bring a torch! The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They were all so helpful and chatty and enthusiastic - a great credit to them and Meliá. The one downside is parking - nothing to do with Melia, but if, like us, you drive into London, the nearest parking is under the Holiday Inn hotel. It is only a 5 minute walk but £44 for an overnight stay. Ouch!
Fantastic Hotel - Can't Fault It!

My husband and I stayed at the Melia in Kensington for 6 days and found it to be the most unobtrusive but exceptional service we've encountered... The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and large for London standards... we didn't dine at all in the hotel but the area is full of coffee shops and restaurants and not even a two minute walk from the underground station... overall absolutely delightful and the staff were kind, courteous and helpful.

Lovely hotel in a good location and easy to find with a close by tube station. Room and bathroom were lovely. Bed was very comfortable. There was some noise during the day but nothing that stopped us from sleeping at night. We were unable to sample the bar which was a shame as the bartender said he was unable to make a cocktail due to the coffee machine being broken? But all in all we had a nice stay
