Always stay at this hotel when using East Midlands Airport, staff friendly but professional, very clean, beds sooooo comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful with an excellent choice of all you would want. Recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Premium runway view room was stunning as always. Our first night away from our son who is now 2 and half. A little worrying but it was So it was nice to chill for a change! Service and quality of the Radisson blu is always top notch at east midlands airport and at Manchester airport too. We love our treat nights here. Its always so relaxing and makes us feel so chilled. The only downside this time was our toilet which had a constant drip/flush into the bowl which was really loud even with the door closed. Kept me awake during the night and therefore i was tossing and turning. I know the beds are usually so comfy here so this was just bad luck this time around. The staff are always so friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection too. And wow, the breakfast… amazing! The pool, steam room and sauna are added bonuses we enjoy using every visit. We cant wait to come again 😀
So easy to fly from

Booked a premier runway room for the night before our flight to ensure we had no transport problems. We booked the car in for a week too! Room was clean, bed was large. Lots of little touches. Robes/smellies/mini bar included. Not very private though , if you are sharing, you cannot have a shower without the other person seeing! The bathroom had glass windows between the two rooms. Runway view! Unfortunately, it was rather dark to see the runway but you could catch the lights of the DHL/UPS cargo planes taking off. The UPS lorries come and go all night but you don’t here a sound. Car parking. So easy. Pull up, drop bags off, go and park the car. Book a time for Radisson to take you to the departure point. When you arrive home there is a dedicated telephone to let them know you are ready for pick up. 15 mins later we were back at the hotel and the driver dropped us right at our car. Great service. We eat in the bar/lobby area. Normal hotel prices so we didn’t go mad!! Staff were friendly and so helpful. It was a pleasure to stay. Definitely will book again next time we are flying from EMA.
A few very annoying oddities!

We booked this last minute after deciding to stay locally the night before a flight. Price was excellent and the hotel seemed very bright and modern - and in a great location. Two aspects have made me give it a low score - firstly the windows from the bedroom into the bathroom, what a ridiculous idea! Only the loo is private, you can literally see the other person in the shower from the bedroom. Also the bathroom and loo lights are all on one switch, so you can't even put the light on to go into the loo in the night without flooding the bedroom with light. The second aspect is the bar prices, we decided to go down and order a bottle of prosecco to kick off our holiday in style, but as there was no wine list available I happened to ask how much it was (having been caught out in the past). They wanted £42 for it, in a fairly average hotel bar that is in the same space as reception, with limited ambiance. As I've just said in my review to them, I've paid less than that in some of the best rooftop bars around the world! We opted for two large glasses of rose wine instead at £9 a glass, which wasn't so eye watering . . . but not quite the celebratory experience we were aiming for! I'd stay here again for the location, if it was the same price, but bring my own fizz - and ask for a room with more privacy, if they exist.
