Worst Riz Carlton ever

Reviewed 16 march, 2023

I can’t believed they sold the business lounge time to some event! I can’t have breakfast or meeting people there! And the swimming pool seemed no service at all. Lobby is only that big for 4 persons. Worst Riz Carlton ever. Definitely will choose four seasons next time.

Excellent Downtown Hotel

Excellent experience on a recent business trip. Front desk is friendly and efficient. My room was spacious and quiet. Gym is superb. The club lounge is not to be missed - great food and Darius and Cynthia couldn’t do enough.

A Stunning Weekend in a Stunning Setting

Reviewed 1 november, 2022

The Ritz-Carlton Los Angles is one of our most favorite hotels but on our recent trip it was a whole new level for two reasons 1) super sweet upgrade (thanks Bonvoy Ambassador team)and 2) club level access. The Room The Executive Suite is a stunning room. The hotel offers several configurations. Some have a half bath, some offer a connecting room and some are accessible. Regardless of configurations all offer a spacious living/dining room, spectate bedroom, stunning bathroom and killer views. The executive suite is great for couples looking for a bit of extra space (more than a thousand square feet) to spread out, families or those travel on business and need space for work. Club Lounge If you’ve never had the opportunity to experience the Ritz-Carlton Club Level it is an experience to be had. Unfortunately Ritz-Carlton does not offer elite access to the club level so you’ll have to pay for it - Burd it’s worth it. The offerings vary by hotel but this club offers a full hot breakfast, lite lunch mid day, snacks, evening appetizers and desserts, beer and wine all day and evening cocktail service. This is all included in the room rate along with an incredible concierge team. The Hotel The hotel is tranquil, private and offers discrete luxury. Even though the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton share a building the experiences can not be anything farther from each other. From the private lobby, to beautiful rooms, to the well equipped fitness center to the tranquil rooftop pool The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles does not disappoint.

Good hotel, but not best location, poor breakfast.

Reviewed 24 october, 2022

This hotel is situated in DownTown, far away from point of interes. I was here 15-18 of Oct 2022. Is not a pure Ritz, is a mixt between Marriot and Ritz, în this location are both hotel, they share breakfast room and many other spaces. Hotel is new, clean, furniture is nice, services are good. One big minus: breakfast is very poor, not many options. You can choose buffet or " a la carte menu", but both of them are very poor. Not any kind of vegetables, not fresh or smoked fish, they had only 2 kind of cheese, if I could note breakfast I will give one star only. But generaly, beside location and breakfast, this hotel is not bad. I will not come again next time, are many other options better.

You SHOULD Be Celebrated

My first word of advice is to slow down. Slow down or you're going to miss it. The aesthetics calmed me. The service solidified I could rest in comfort. The lobby is small and exclusive. I didn't come to the Ritz-Carlton to be seen; I came to get away. One could easily travel down the corridor to the adjacent J.W. lobby and eateries to find people and the many sounds of life. However, for someone like me who is an extroverted introvert, I enjoyed coming back to my well-appointed allotted space and just be with myself. I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who is the one who carries many with them. People count on me and I'm there. I don't mind the weight, but I have to make sure my cup is full. My night here filled my cup. The next night I did stay in a J.W. Marriott room but there's a difference. I felt more as if I were on a work trip at the J.W.. My stay at the Ritz-Carlton, that time spent was my well-deserved escape. My shoutouts: Amma and Edwin- great Front Desk persons Irene- Guest Relations *chef's kiss* she knows her stuff. I could have sat and listened to her describe Los Angeles to me, an L.A. native born and raised. She provided new lenses to look at My city. David- my bellman exemplified superior customer service that continued AFTER my checking out. It was much appreciated to still matter.
