Clean and Friendly Property

The hotel was clean snd clearly marked as to covid19 precautions. Staff was friendly while still being professional and respectful. I would certainly recommend this facility to others needing a place to stay in Louisville KY. It is centrally located with easy access to the Airport and interstates.

We decided to fly to Kentucky to check out the State Fair. I took my 16 year old son and his friend with me. We had adjoining rooms on the 3rd floor and stayed for 4 nights. The managers at this place are amazing. They work long, hard hours and do everything they can to help make it a better stay. Thank you, Jody and Jennifer! The housekeeper and breakfast staff are also very pleasant and helpful. The shuttle is at your service 24 hours a day. They not only shuttled to the airport, but also the fair and nearby restaurants, on request, no matter the time. Housekeeping came by every day as requested. I could nit pick about little things here and there, but really overall it was a very delightful stay because of the staff. A sweet man working at the front desk even turned us in a different direction for dinner on our last night there and it was a wonderful experience. As we had never been to Kentucky before, these people we met left us feeling like we would definitely go back!

Very clean hotel and super friendly staff. Jessica at the front desk was amazing! Pool was clean. Coffee and teas in the lobby were restocked fresh/hot often. Beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. Best sleep at a hotel in quite a while! Shuttle was convenient for getting to and from Kentucky Kingdom and ran 24 hours. Only criticism is that the room was a bit small, but no big deal for us. There was a refrigerator (every room) microwave(3rd floor rooms)in our room, which was nice to have. Anything we needed was quickly addressed. Would recommend asking for a few extra towels when checking in as there were only two in the bathroom.

This Hotel definitely needs improvement. Theirs only a handful of employees at this location that care about their place of employment and position. Yet some of the staff needs improvement, replacing and just relocation.

Stay was 12-16 July 2021 on a business trip. So, the day we checked in, was the end of a girls’ basketball tournament which was high school girls. So, their last night there, the coaches let the girls be wild. They cost the hotel more required time to clean the rooms. Jessica and Shawn were doing everything they could to make guest feel comfortable and get the new guest checked in. I felt sorry for them. I wished those coaches and girls were more responsible, people are just so selfish. So, with that out of the way, it explained why the hotel floors hallways were not cleaned as well on upper floors the first day we were there. But it does not explain why they remained dirty the whole time. One of the guys in our group reported the fitness center not being cleaned during this time as well. The first two days, the breakfast was slow in being put out. They last two of our days, the different girl was on time. Either they need more cleaning staff or staff to stop conversating and be more focus on getting things done. (Minus Jessica & Shawn) They were always hustling. So, I am a neat freak and work in medical. I never expect the room to be to my standards but the uncleaning I found in my room was not acceptable. Thank goodness I had my cleaning products with me. I just wiped everything down. I had to clean the dust piled up around the microwave, around the mini refrigerator, washed & scrubbed the two air conditioner vents in the tub, re-wipe toilet, & Lysol spray items down. That was too much work on my first day after flying in from getting up at 2:15 am. Ironing board is on it’s last leg but I made it work. At least the furniture was in good shape. The room décor & setup was pretty much decent. I thought the airplanes would keep me up but being tired at night they didn’t. One-night, loud folks were a pain, but the room walls were solid but the noise was in the hallway and across the hallway. The breakfast food was much better than the last business trip I had, although others performed better hots. I was okay with it. Grounds kept up nice, plenty of parking, nice size (large) pool, and area was safe. Next to major highways and you can get to everything. We went out to eat every night. Some nice restaurants close, driving distance. They do have shuttle; only the 4th & 3rd floors have microwave because on the other floors they short out the building. Unfortunately, as much as I don’t like to give bad reviews, I don’t think I would come back for the cleaning fact. One the hotel would be good, if they fix that electric problem. Two, shampoo the carpets (hallway), provide cleaning staff with Swiffer dusters to get behind the microwave & refrigerator, buy some extra vent screen, so you can just pull the dirt ones to replace then, clean the dirty screens and rotate them out to keep from wasting cleaning time for them. Add so additional folks to clean and another driver for the shuttle.
