Great hotel close to the city center

Best hotel to stay if travelling by train, there is also a fully equipped gym just across the hotel and free of charge. The breakfast is also nice and there are plenty of gifts in the minibar which is a gesture for the guests. The reception was also very helpful and kind.
Great Stay at Casada Hotel

Great stay at Casada Hotel. Welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, spacious and very clean room. It was a great location for arriving by train and an easy walk to the old city. We ate dinner the first night in the Bolero restaurant and it was excellent.

Very welcoming staff, the check-in easy with all covid 19 measures followed. The room is spacious beautiful and colourful. It was a plus having a beautiful restaurant downstairs Bolero no need to go far. Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable, for sure it is a must stay hotel.
Excellent, Affordable Hotel in Lucerne

I stayed at the Cascada Boutique Hotel on a solo trip in September 2021. In deciding to book the hotel, I wanted something close to the Lucerne train station and something rather central to old town Lucerne, the hotel fit the bill on both accounts. It's about a five minute walk from the train station and then only a couple minutes further to old town (like the Kappelbrucke) and the shore of Lake Lucerne. There's a lovely park nearby, a supermarket a couple of blocks away, and one of the best restaurants in Lucerne in the lobby (Bolero, a Spanish restaurant). My room was large for a European hotel room. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning. The bathroom was nicely appointed and everything at the hotel was very clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was in Bolero and it featured a nice selection of cold and hot foods and you could get cooked to order eggs. Staff were nice enough and the check in process was pretty simple. The one drawback of the hotel is that it is located between the main train station and a very busy tram line on the other side of the block so I could definitely hear traffic all night. But it's availability to both modes of transit , for me, mattered more. I'd definitely stay at Cascada again if I'm in Lucerne.

Very beautiful room with a nice, oversized tub and good variety of free drinks. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit crowded but they were placing good procedures for Covid. A little walk to the old town and room had no view but it was very enjoyable.
