Fantastic!! Not to be missed
Sarah and Ian were extraordinary hosts. We were very well welcome. Everyday we shared our plans with them and they would give us alternatives and recommendations that proved to be excellent. The room had a very nice view of the Bristol Channel, it was quiet and nice. Breakfast was delicious. And we will never forget those moments we spent talking about...things. We will definitely go back!
Fantastic views
Stayed in the Coachmans apartment with my wife and 2 dogs and I’m so glad we did. From the stunning views on our private terrace to the cleanliness and size of the rooms everything was just perfect only wished I’d booked for longer than 2 nights. Only a few minutes walk into Lynton and the faniculer down to Lynmouth or there is a path if you feel fitter. Also there is a beautiful walk to the Valley of the Rocks and as the path is only 30 metres from North Walk House this is a must as the views are some of the best you’ll ever see and you will also see the wild goats. Thanks Sarah and Ian hope to see you next year.
A very pleasant stay and great location
Sarah and Ian were great hosts and made you very welcome The house was well appointed, good parking, a wonderful sun terrace, seperate guest lounge and a well appointed pay bar! Evening Dinner was available and was very nice. Some nice touches in the room( we stayed in Framboise which has direct see views) Breakfast menu was very good and Ian even indulged us with a request for ice cream on the last day! Thanks Again!
Rustic B&B with wonderful sea views
Situated at the bottom of a hill, overlooking the sea, this is a non pretentious rustic B&B. The owners provide a very warm welcome and dish up a superb breakfast. I fully recommend the owners pineapple marmalade:). Rosie the dog adds to the home away from home feel. Picture stripped wooden floor boards, colourful rugs and a cilled vibe. Some great wines and spirits available via the honesty bar. This B&B also has a lovely terrace area where you can relax with a drink whilst taking in the wonderful sea views.
Amazing Overnight Trip
My dad and I stayed here overnight and it was amazing. The views from the Fremboise room are spectacular and the room was very cozy and clean. The bathroom was very nice and updated as well. We arrived late at night and the owners Ian and Sarah were very accommodating and welcoming, we sat out on the terrace overlooking the water for a drink that night and a delicious fresh made meal there in the morning. They also have a very cute black dog named Rosie who is fun to meet as well. Perfect place to start your walk if you are planning on visiting the Valley of Rocks in Exmoor park because it is right along the path that you walk. Ian gave us great advice and set us on a path from their garden up to a different trail that gave us amazing views over the valley. They also let us leave our car in the parking lot during the day while we hiked. This was the first hotel that we’ve stayed at since the COVID-19 lockdown and I felt very safe. They had hand sanitizer at the door and breakfast times were staggered to limit the number of people eating at one time. I wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night because it was perfect :)
