Good location

The main reason I picked this hotel was location & it’s pretty well located just a short walk to the centre of Madrid. The metro station is a few minutes away & your very close to a range of places to eat and drink too. The rooms are very unique and a theatre fan would love the decor!

Centrally situated for the old City of Madrid

Stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of March. We had booked a double room (slept in this room for the first night) with a terrace (no view from the terrace as it was very low down), however, we asked for a change of room to a twin room for the next 4 nights of our holiday. The double had very little storage space. The twin room was much larger with a bed settee and twin beds plus a small balcony which overlooked the busy street. Parts of the Hotel were being renovated during our stay. Downside to the accommodation were no tea or coffee facilities and no safe. We were disappointed with this. The breakfast is served on the 5th floor, there is a lift, and is self service. Good coffee machine, toasts, fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats, plus cereals, fruits and yogurts. Pleasant young member of staff supervising this room. If we were to travel to Madrid again we wouldnt stay here.

Good location and excellent

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. It is located on a side street off a major road. It was difficult to find the entrance since the taxi let us off on the main street and the entrance is very small. The check in was a little slow but that was because the staff was trying to be helpful to guests. The room was a decent size, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. The front desk was very helpful especially after my wife had her eyeglasses snatched from her purse. Be careful pickpockets all over Madrid. Many are eastern europeans. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights in room 209. The room was clean, with twin beds and a nice clean bathroom with a walk in shower. Our room overlooked Calle Echegaray, which is a narrow but very busy lane, which was quite noisy at night with bin emptying and general noise. (Nothing that the hotel could do anything about) Beds were very clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot food and cold meats, cheese and fresh bread rolls, tea and coffee and fruit juices. Hotels location is perfect, within walking distance of Sol and loads of different bars and restaurants. The staff were brilliant. Very welcoming and helpful with directions etc. All in all we had a very nice break, and I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location! Pleasant stay!

Perfect location near Sol and downtown Madrid. Walking distance to Sol, Gran Via, museums, stores, restaurants and bars. Hotel was clean, staff was very pleasant and helpful, and room and bathroom both were great sizes. Hotel’s decoration was cute because it had theater themes as its name states, but it gave it a fun feel. Definitely recommend, not only because it’s location is ideal, but also because it was a pleasant stay overall.
