Great location, excellent room

This hotel is located a block from the train station and walking distance to nearly everything in Madrid. The rooms are great, clean and comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and attentive. We arrived around 10am and although we were very early, they found a room available for us. When booking (from the US) they quickly responded to our questions and worked with tying our stay into our group tour so we didn't have to change rooms.
Convenient location, friendly and clean.

I've stayed here twice. It's convenient to Atocha, which I had to use several days, very early, for meetings elsewhere, such as via the high speed train to Barcelona. The hotel is right beside the parks for the odd stroll, and very close to the some of the world's best galleries and museums. It is close to the casual restaurants of the Barrio de las Letras and Plaza Santa Ana, and easy enough to get to Salamanca on other occasions for some truly fine dining.
Limited restaurant menu

I had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. It's a pleasant environment, but I'm afraid the menu is not particularly appealing. I asked for a vegetarian meal and I basically got only roasted vegetables (which were good) and a very bad risotto with vegetables... I wouldn't recommend.
Nice hotel, in the middle of everything.

Good location, easy to go everywhere. Many museums are in walking distance. Metro is just a few mins away. Spacious room, Good services. Many international cable channels. If you want quiet room, ask for the garden side.

Pros: -Very central location in Madrid next to train station -Concierge very responsive - helped us arranged covid tests in advance at the hotel for travel -Front desk was helpful in printing travel documents -Decent wifi -Room service food was good Cons: -The room needs refurbishment - was noticeably dated, some of the tiles on the floor were worn out and teh wardrobe was old and broken -Breakfast was very limited
