Good vibes and value for low price
Very cheap and good value for what you pay for. Beds are thick and comfy, wifi is strong, showers are good with warm water, free fruit and drinking water and lovely staff. There’s a really nice relaxed chill vibe here too. Rooms can get a bit hot in the summer but you can’t expect aircon for the price you pay. What you do get exceeds expectations though. I’ll stay here again if I come back to Pai
Fantastic place to stay in Pai
Kristina is a fantastic host. She is so kind and helpful. Staying here was very peaceful and you could feel the connection with nature. It 100% lives up to it's name. The internet was strong and consistent, which was important for me as I work from my laptop. The location is great (only about a 10-15 minute walk to the center). The value of what you get for the price is mind blowing. Free coffee, free water and access to the fridge & freezer. More than what I could have asked for considering the low prices. Even though it is not expensive, it doesn't feel like a budget hostel. Everything was clean and cleaned up regularly, the shower worked great and the rooms feel really homely. Also, because it's inexpensive you can rent a motorcycle for around 100 baht a day if you prefer not to walk and still not break the bank. I plan on returning to Pai again and when I do, I'll be coming back here for sure! Thank you Kristina, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you.
Home away from home
Such an amazing experience. The hostess is great, helpful and so nice. Place is so clean and in a great location. No issues at all. Love seeing her children hang around and play and talk with the guests. Booked for a couple of nights, stayed a week. Great value overall and would recommend to anyone who does not expect luxury but a nice cottage feel outside the city.
Great chill guest house with an amazing host
Chilling hill guest house was definitely one of the best places I stayed in so far. The dorm rooms only have three beds and therefore you still get plenty of privacy when needed. The host is going out of her way to make everyone happy and the exterior is just amazing. It's up a hill overlooking the Pai valley, which still means only a ten minute walk into town to the restaurants and bars. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back when coming back to Pai.
I’m hearing people have loud sex and I can’t sleep.
This is literally happening right now as I type this. I wish the walls of this guesthouse were thicker. It’s a bit much at 3:00AM and I don’t have earplugs. Even the neighbourhood dogs are quieter. Tone it down people! It sounds like she’s in pain. Maybe she’s faking it?
