We stayed at Bantunglom Resort with great pleasure. We had booked the panorama suite and it was sublime. All the staff were very attentive and the location is very quiet. Fax and Film the manager's children are adorable and very efficient. Miss Film has booked us the bus tickets for Pai and do not hesitate to contact Mr Fax for any information. Both of them speak very good English (better than mine, that's for sure). A very beautiful place, arranged with great taste.

‘So much potential, poorly managed.’ ➖ First issue, no internet at all. The resort could buy an extender for 500 baht and solve the problem. The kettle I had to hold the top down for it to boil, and no tea in the room. Mattresses need to be replaced. Reception never there, they checked us in and after that they was not seen once, if it wasn’t for the kind cleaners and young man it would have been a whole lot worse. “Breakfast included” for 3000 baht a night I expect breakfast, first day nothing but bread and a toaster, 2nd day rice soup, nothing more, is that reasonable for a 3000 baht per night “resort” ? Water issues, I have seen a few reviews saying how they have fixed this issue from last year, I don’t think that’s true. The whole time in 2 different rooms, water hot/cold we had issues. For the price, for the 9.0 rating On booking.com I was very very disappointed. Me and my partner own a guesthouse in Thailand ourselves, we come to Chiang Mai often, this was unfortunately the worst place we have stayed, the most expensive, and the place we was most excited about. It’s really a shame because the whole place is beautiful and has so much potential, I think the owners have lost the love for the place. Good luck, thanks to the cleaners and young man night time worker. ➕ The cleaners, and the young man that worked nights but no English spoken. The views were great and the rooms were beautiful. Location was peaceful and lovely.
Tranquility at its best

Well, it was a bit hard to find but this is where GPS comes in. However, when we arrived (eight of us) it was just WOW. A little family-run resort with only 9 rooms arranged around a pond and surrounded by rice fields and beautiful designed rooms with a view. We could stay only one night, what a pity. Travelers please note: Bring cash, paying by credit card is not possible.

Amazing place to disconnect. So quiet and beautiful. Family owners are so kind and always trying to do the best for you. A bit problem to find food after 7 pm but it’s the redeem of the area. Rooms are beautiful also. Place to go if you’re in Chang mai.
