Not good

The hotel is dated. The staffs are okay. No slippers provided and the shower is hard to use. Breakfast served was mediocre and borderline cold. Price P3300 is not worth it for a 1 night stay. They need an overhaul considering its prime location in Makati.

Excellent Property for a 3 star hotel

Reviewed 16 november, 2019

I found this hotel to be excellent for a 3 star hotel. I really dont know why people are whingeing and whinening. Awesome staff and a very spacious room. Yes there is a smell but its easy to get passed. And if some things were updated, this could be a 3.5 to 4 star. Good value for your money. Both my husband and I liked our room. Stop moaning people.

Could be BEST ...

Last time I stayed at Tiarra Oriental Hotel, it was one of the majestic hotel here at Makati.. It still has that very good feeling staying in this cozy hotel now, however... Customer service especially with regard room maintenance is now at a low. Consider this: -Wifi is charged at a per hour rate, WHO, WHAT hotel does that... -toiletries are on a per request basis, i.e, bath robe, towel, dental care -i could've sworn those carpets were there 10years ago.. And those hideous thermostat controls.. -bathroom blinders are in disarray... and missing some blinds. Really hope that window is tinted one way... -14" LCD TV on a bedroom suite.. Seriousleeeeee..????!!! On the plus side: Hotel staff are corteous. Easy checking in.. Checking out. Dim lighting works for us as it relaxes and soothes the mind.

Questionable stains and smells... Horrific

Reviewed 1 october, 2019

We asked for a non smoking floor, good wifi signal. We got the opposite. We stayed in room 706. The smell of cigarette hit our nose instantly, bed was smelly and sheets have stains, towels have hair and ink stains. Carpet was dirty also. We had to buy room slippers for 25peso per pair. They said they had free wifi at the lobby and we will be billed per hour for wifi use in our room. My skin is itchy as I write this review... :(

The worst hotel for 3,900Php

Reviewed 16 september, 2019

Missed our flight. Taxi brought us here. Conveniently, since we looked desperate for a room, their “only room available” was a Suite. Paid 3,900Php (90USD) for one night. Room was creepy. Very dark. The carpet was very sticky and wet. A lightbulb was blinking. To top it off, their only free wifi is as in the lobby area and if we wanted to use the wifi in our rooms, we would have to pay 100Php (2USD) PER HOUR. SMH
