The management is terrible. I felt sorry for the staff there, but the first night my hot water didn’t work, and then I changed room, and then my air con unit wasn’t working! It made such a loud noise! And then I changed room again. After all theses changes and moving up and down I was so stressed that I didn’t want to out. The manager trying to blame on me for the state of the hotel. After all this I got a refund of one night and got a room that worked properly. However it ruined my holiday.
Do not go to Manaus

The city-Manaus is terrible and not safe, but we need to stay there for 1 night before Amazon jungle. Hotel is old, elevator works really slow and not comfortable doors are opening. Breakfast is poor.
Amazing views from the rooms.

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are nice, and the hotel is walking distance to the main square. The wifi is strong and the included breakfast is really good. If you get a room with a balcony on the upper floors there is really amazing views too.
Great basic hotel in the city centre.

When I booked the hotel I was a bit scared with all the reviews but I have to say it has met and exceeded my expectations. We booked 2 nights - then after 3 days on the river we came back for another 3 nights. A total of 5 nights which I have nothing to complain about. The infrastructure was great, WiFi worked really well and the showers are easily changeable between hot, mild and cold water - you can change the temp yourself!! Breakfast is great with so many options and a mix of local cuisine and continental. Location is great as you can walk to the Amazon theatre, the municipal street market and great restaurants near by. Only thing that might be uncomfortable are the rooms facing the street as those can get quite noisy with the window open. But all rooms have working ACs so you have a choice of not opening it at all :). Also all staff were super friendly and helpful!! Had a great experience.

This place we booked twice to facilitate our trip in a jungle lodge. They have kindly kept our luggage 4 days at no cost! There is a lot to say about it: 1. At 152 brl you get a decent size room incl a breakfast which i consider above par for Brazil. Its still very basic to European standards 2. Internet works well but the two-layer authentication is cumbersome 3. The first night we had no hot water in the shower. That is UNACCEPTABLE! Especially if the staff knows and lets you prepay the night with a smile. Disgusting! 4. Common infrastructure is not sized for a 13 storey building. Only 2 elevators (of which one is normally for staff) and a breakfast place that is too small to accomodate the expectable morning rush 5. Good location on 400meters from the theatro which is really the best square we've seen in this city. 6. Airco works well which is a must in this hot and humid place near the Amazone. Tip: ask at the reception if everything works well and be specific: airco, hot water, wifi... whatever you find important BEFORE you pay!
