Food was disappointing and below par, and it led to me and my whole family being ill, which is not what you want on a holiday that I worked hard for. We were not compensated in any way for our discomfort and lost a whole day of our holiday. The head of reception was not receptive to our situation and said he did not believe us because If it was food poisoning there should be ''more people ill''. This was a mockery of our experience and he even told us that there was ''only one other room'' describing the same symptoms. I could not believe what i was hearing and makes me think, they clearly could not care less about us and i said to him. ''How many people need to become ill for you too believe us?'' he subsequently send us to the hotel doctor ( this was a day after our poisoning, we had said through the room service phone before that we were ill) to get rid of us. We realised that complaining was pointless and decided to let it go and enjoy what was left of our holiday. The hotel suffered from unexperienced staff and lack of maintenance. Upon arrival the minibar, coffee station and soaps were unstocked. Clearly they had not been replenished from the last guests. The smoke alarm and low battery resulting in it flashing all night long. The bar staff were criminally underexperienced, the cocktails were absolutely terrible (no exaggeration) and as somebody who works in hospitality there several other faults and all stem from lack of knowledge. However, it is likely that the bulk of these issues came as shockwaves regressing from the pandemic. The lack of experienced staff could come from severe layoffs they had to make before, leading to a new wave of hires resulting in undertrained staff. (Definitely should not be 5-stars. In conclusion, I would just book somewhere else, closer to Antalya maybe and spend a bit more money. Maybe in Kemer.

Absolutely Wonderful and Amazing Holiday, Very Highly Recommended

It was our second visit at Crystal Palace Resort within six weeks and surely not the last as we’ve absolutely loved it the very first time we went there all thanks to the very warm welcome and hospitality we’ve received at Crystal Palace Resort. We couldn’t wait to go back again to celebrate our Son’s Birthday. The hotel is huge and very beautiful designed with lovely decor and layout , wonderful landscape with loads of spaces outside and a amazing long stretch of golden sandy beach , huge and spotless which has been our favourite spot from day one of our previous visit. Food was always fresh and of great quality with plentiful of choices for everyone. Never felt it was repetitive as we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day we were there.The Salmon stake was my favourite and was absolutely very delicious. Entertainment in the evening was amazing and of very high professional standard especially the Waterworld and the Extreme Shows. Staff were all very kind, helpful and very professional, they speak and understand English, there was no language barrier, they do try their very best and were always happy to help with a smile. Erkan, Vera from Reception, Emir, Ali and Salman from main restaurant and Khalit were all fantastic. Special Thanks to Mr Murat for the Wonderful Birthday Experience we’ve had for our son and for the ever so beautiful room which was absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean, with plenty of spaces and stunning sea views where we’ve spent awesome great quality family time together and enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunset almost everyday. Our son received a wide selection very fresh fruits , chocolate and sweets complimentary of the hotel during the day and in the evening for dinner, had our table reserved at the restaurant of our choice which was very beautifully decorated. Our son was very pleasantly surprised by the very delicately and beautifully decorated Birthday cake he received after his dinner which was extremely delicious and so yummy . Mr Murat Guven was always there, ever so kind, polite , helpful and considerate at all times and have gone the extra mile to ensure everything was fine during our stay and that we had a wonderful great vacation at Crystal Palace Resort. Many Thanks once again for everything he did, we very much appreciate it . We have also come across the General Manager Mr Ahmet TURGAN on few occasions. He was very polite, friendly , humble gentleman, always smiling and was very happy to see us back again at Crystal Palace. Overall it was an absolutely wonderful and memorable experience for sure staying at Crystal Palace for the second time and we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the team who have gone above and beyond to make our stay something to remember and wanting to come back again . They have all made us feel Valued and Special and part of a very Big Family . We very Highly Recommended Crystal Palace Resort at any times and will definitely come back again.

Have never tried this chain before and all in all it was a fairly good choice. Staff seemed eager to please us and for the most part did just that! Food let it down just a bit as the buffet selection was extremely repetitive and the food was usually warm rather than hot. Rooms much less spacious than the photos appear but more than sufficient and very clean! Based on what we paid I would be happy to recommend this hotel to families and couples. Enjoy Guys!

Beautiful hotel but not quite up to 5 star

The hotel is beautiful with lovely lobby entrance and nice rooms but definitely not 5 star. Nice bars throughout but only felt Terrace Bar and upstairs lobby were worth visits as drinks a better standard and nicer glasses. Not really hotels fault but it was sold to us by Jet2 as premium plus which included international drinks. This appeared to only include Bicardi, Gilbys Gin and Vodka if you want anything else including Gordon’s Gin you need to pay. Only Effes beer apart from in Irish Bar where you can also get draught Becks. Wine is only 1 red, 1 white and 1 Rose all very basic and not great taste. Overall very poor for something Jet2 pushes as premium plus. Entertainment shows were good and talented team but very similar each night. Zero effort from day entertainment team to try and involve guests or promote games etc. Food is great selection I would recommend tipping waiting staff on first day in buffet restaurant you will receive better service. We did Mexican one night which was fun and staff were brilliant but do not expect high quality of food it’s more fun experience than fine dining. The Crystal Palace restaurant we used a lot which cooks burgers, pizza etc to order. The beach front restaurant does delicious fresh chicken kebabs which I’d highly recommend. Smoothie Bar, Patisserie, Waffles Bar and Crepe Station are all good standard and worth visits. The aspect that really reduced our score was housekeeping. One day I returned at 5pm and room hadn’t been touched, other times clear marks on floor and surfaces that were not touched for couple of days and even bathroom never felt well cleaned. I would normally leave tip at end of stay however one person in our party left a couple of euros on first day for housekeeping and received a higher service so again if you plan to tip do it at the beginning to get benefit.

Nice hotel but room for improvement

Evening entertainment is excellent, unfortunately due to rain it was moved inside last couple of days but still good. Nice big sandy beach. Always somewhere you can get some food or alcohol 24 X 7. My favourite member of staff has to be Atila who works in the turquoise bar, always professional, friendly, service with a smile, attentive. My only critisicm is the cocktails and alcohol, the cocktails just taste like whatever premixed juice they put in it and I know it is local alcohols but definitely not to my taste.
