If I could rate this hotel 0 I would. Took 4 rooms to find one bearable to stay in, sadly could not change hotel due to places being full. Issues = shower facing a window with no frosting or curtain, broken toilet seat, no tv, no wifi, no hairdryer, freezing temperatures. The rude manager tops it all off though. Absolutely no redeeming features to this ‘hotel’. Toilet seat had been reported to management 2 days before (staff member told us) but not fixed and the room was still available to paying customers. Initially we were promised a refund but only got 50% because my son took the broken toilet seat to reception in front of customers! When I asked the manager to not call me ‘love’ he said I was rude and demanded I left the hotel. When we stayed due to a lack of options the manager said we should have left and other hotels being full and our train home being the next day was not his problem. I have reported this hotel to trading standards.

This hotel is very shabby. First impressions was bad the main door was locked, which no one answered for quite some time. To me that was a warning sign it was rough being's it was locked like that. The bannister on the stairs was wobbly, which was very unsafe. The fire doors in our room stuck when trying to open them, the bathroom door did the same which is very dangerous if there was a fire. I think heath and safety would have a field day. The bath panel was broken off, it looked like someone had kicked it in. The bedding smelt like a burger van. There was no spoon to make a cuppa with and the list goes on. I'm not one for putting bad reviews in but this hotel cost £200 a night so I would of expected better.

Great position for trip to Old Trafford. Very good customer service arrived late at night and the owner stayed up to greet us. The hotel needs abit of TLC but the room was clean, bedding fresh and bed comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Overall a good place to stay .
