This place is a little gem, it’s right in the heart of Manchester, do not be put off by the outside of the hotel, the inside is amazing! It’s reception area is beautifully decorated! The room was very spacious, the decor was lovely and the bed was very comfy, it’s has all the amenities, hair dryer, kettle (plenty of tea coffee milk etc) iron and plenty of towels and bathroom supplies! Breakfast was lovely and plentiful! As it is on the heart of Manchester during the night it can be very noisy, due to the street cleaning, this was not an issue for me but could be for others!

The reception team were so helpful with my booking. Booked via booking.com but then saw a better deal on the website, they sorted it all out so i got the better deal. On arrival got Prosecco and chocs as part of the deal i bought. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms aren’t amazing but clean and basic for a few nights are fine. Bit noisy as we were straight on main street but didn’t bother me just have plenty of drink wont hear a thing then!

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family. The hotel looked lovely as we walked to the front desk to book in. They gave us a double room on the fourth floor which we didn't like so we asked for a change which they gave us straight away. We were moved to a 1st floor room which was very nice indeed. Very clean, although a bit cold. The full English breakfast was gorgeous every morning also continental breakfast 🥐 was all nice.. Full marks to the chef. Also full marks to our waiter Jay he looked after us every day and chatted to us and we had a laugh. We will stay here again on our return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel has fallen into disrepair and many rooms in this hotel aren’t fit for purpose. The bathrooms and living areas used are more suitable to students, the bathrooms have council taps, fake concealed toilet units around council house style low level toilets with very poor room design, the rooms are VERY hot. most of the staff are fed up which is written all over their face. The carpets have holes EVERYWHERE including the rooms and the bar, well it’s just not open, struggling for funds is the theme but don’t want to create revenue. The breakfast was ok and sadly the only thing I can say was good about the hotel itself
