Nicest hotel in the area

Solid, good quality in the area. Rooms are spacious and clean, with modern look. Equipped with microwave, sink, mini-refrigerator, and eating area. Extensive outdoor pool area and exercise room. The restaurant breakfast was not the best, but the lunch menu and food were much better. For the area, it's the best there.

This is a great hotel, if you want to be local to the area. Its an hour from Rio airport, with Itacaruça beach just 500m away. Great size apartments, with dining table for 2, fridge and microwave and a balcony. If you have sea view, the views of the marina and itacaruça island are breathtaking. The hotel has several pools that merge together, gym and kids play area. The bar is opened to the reception area, leading on to a restaurant, some nights have a buffet. Great staff everywhere. The wifi can be slow in busy times and nothing during heavy rain. I stayed here for 4 months in 2016 and just returned for a few days. It has maintained a good level of standard, with some upgrades to the front entrance. Grounds, internal decor have been kept immaculate. Tip Ask for sea view

Stayed in December and January and will be there again in February. Nice little 3 star on the edge of the marina. 500m from the local beach. It is an apartment hotel, so the the rooms are goid size. Small dining table for 2, microwave fridge and some kitchen cupboards for storage. Flat screen TV and aircon. All rooms have bulcany. Tiled floors, King size beds and well maintained. Spare pillows, bedding in wardrobe. The maids clean every day and do a great job. Laundry is Mon, Wed and Fri, so your return laundry falls on the next collection day. Ask for sea view its spectacular looking across the marina and neighbouring island. Hotel has 4 pools, 3 are mingling into 1. Swim up bar area, although you have to call the bartender by phone. There is a small gym opens from 6am to 10pm and there is also a jacuzzi and steam room. Breakfast is ok, and most nights dinner is buffet, but can order from menu if you want something else. Food quality is a good standard. One improvement would be the very slow and erratic Internet connection. It can vary in strength, but most often struggles in the room.

Good thing about the hotel are the spacious rooms with excellent views on the water and swimming pool. The swimming pool is a beauty. Service in the hotel is poor, staff try to help but I have the feeling they miss good training and follow up. Food is mediocre. This hotel has potential but it is not to be found.

Traveling on business I stayed many separate times at this hotel. There are a limited number of options in the area but new hotels are coming soon. I usually only rate hotels that I like and want to share a positive experience. However, I feel I should share my thoughts on this poorly managed hotel. Hotel Management - Poor (Ruim) Service - Slow (Lento) Television And Cable - Never functioning (Ruim) Food - Poor (mais o menos) Wifi - Poor (Ruim) Hotel Not recommended - if on business, try to find an alternative. If on vacation, definitely find an alternative.
