Filthy and Horrible
Reviewed 19 September, 2021
I recently stayed here with a large group. The rooms were filthy and there was no housekeeping. One person's room was so full of mold that she had to get a new room. There was mold on the bathtub in my room also. My room was so humid that my clothes were damp when I unpacked them. I commented on the fact that my room was never cleaned when I checked out and they said it was due to Covid. A lame excuse because I recently stayed at a hotel in NYC and the room was always cleaned. They gave one lady a free room when she showed them photos of the filth. I was not so fortunate. The temperature in the large room where we held meetings was freezing as well as damp. The lady next to me was visibly shaking and did not return the next day. I will never set foot in this hotel again. I don't care what event I'm supposed to attend. I was embarrassed for Massachusetts as we had several out of state visitors.
WHAT A DUMP ! DO NOT STAY HERE !

Traveling to Cape COD for a wedding we decided to stay at this Holiday Inn. What a mistake. :(
This hotel is way below Holiday Inn standards. The rooms and common areas are dirty. There is a problem with mold in hotel rooms. Our lock on the door did not lock completely, the carpets are gross and dirty, The stale, musty smell never went away. Please do not stay here. As of this writing 9-15-21 the restaurant and bar are still not open. Not that I would consider eating in this dump.
This property has many issues and they are aware of these BUT are not addressing them. AS an IHG member myself this property falls way below IHG/Holiday Inn standards. It's embarrassing that that this hotel does business with concert goers, and Gillette Stadium football fans.
This property is also located and kind of hard to find in an commercial industrial area with many office buildings around.
Worst Hotel EVER - Run!

Where the info comes from about their newly decorated hotel and voted best in area is beyond me. Years old info perhaps? I would rate this hotel as a negative if it would let me. The hotel is filthy and gross. Carpets are stained and dirty with bleached out areas and debris. They need to sweep, paint and make repairs. Missing light fixtures in halls and just gross walking through the halls. Every evening piles of towels and dirty sheets are just in the hallways (it’s 8:30 at night and just got back walking by stacks and they’re not still cleaning). Our room never was cleaned. After calling the desk from the room numerous times with no answer, I called from my cell their direct phone number that also was never answered. So we walked the miles of hallways to the front desk to ask for towels since we did not have any and she apologized for no one cleaning. The outside is so trash strewn in every mulch area or grassy area that no one has walked this building for some time. Trash cans are overflowing and so many weeds and cracks in the lot. They haven’t seen mulching crew in a good long while. Our sink doesn’t drain, the shower is rusty and dirty, there is no warm water in the sink and our carpet is stained and filthy. There is no clock in the room and there is a track where a picture should be hung. Doors are propped open with towels or bricks and it smells like pot outside. We haven’t stayed in a Holiday Inn for years and based upon this trip we won’t again. We’ve stayed at many many Marriott brands around the Boston/Providence area and ALL of them have been a way better experience. This hotel needs to be closed and totally renovated and cleaned up! They should not be allowed to charge for any one to stay here. My husband said hopefully this was free and even that is too much; nope nearly $300 for the two nights!

Musty and Damp room---Gross!

My sister and I checked into Mansfield Foxboro Holiday Inn on August 14th, 2021 around 1pm but did not go to our room because we were meeting people in the parking area to go to the Xfinity center for a concert. I just wanted to get the key to the room for when we came back from the concert we were attending, that is why we checked in early. Upon arrival from the concert around 11pm, we went straight to our room (208). When we walked in, the musty smell was very strong and overpowering. We knew we could get over that smell but once we changed into our night clothes and sat on the bed, we knew there was going to be an issue. As we sat for a minute or so, we realized the room was so damp because our clothes were literally wet. We were not sure what to do but about 1115 we felt we could not sleep in that room and the front office let us know the hotel did not have any additional rooms so we made the decision to drive 2 hours home. We felt that it was just not a good thing to have to sleep in damp sheets and have all of our belongings get "wet", it was just so gross. We spoke to the front desk person who was working and very apologetic. I have sent an email and called the Holiday Inn in regards to this 5x and still have not gotten a response back at all. I am very saddened that no one in management has returned calls or emails.
