Can’t say it’s a 5 star…::: Pros : Good service Great location Attentive staff Restaurants and house keeping staff are very welcoming Cons: No mini bar No tea coffee maker in the room They don’t even provide a bottle of water Rooms are a bid dated and need freshness Hot water problems even after they fixed it twice Breakfast was just ok nothing great But overall it was a good stay ( would have been great if the cons were pro ) Thank you

Excellent week

Very pleased with my stay at this hotel, from airport pick up to checking out, the staff was courteous and very helpful 24/7. The bedroom was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and included freshly squeezed orange juice and traditional morrocan pancakes, savoury soups and sweet desserts. The swimming pool was very clean and well attended by staff, my 4 y.o. daughter enjoyed spending time at the kids club too. I tried the hammam and it was very authentic and relaxing. Beautiful gardens surround the hotel.

Very nice hotel and nice location. Restaurants were all good and great service too. Very nice restarants in the surroundings. We had a great time in the pool relaxing, swimming and getting drinks and food from the bar. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly

Old hotel with poor restaurant

Reviewed 1 september, 2021

Hotel is well placed in the middle of L`Hivernage. Bars, restaurants and the Menara Mall reachable in a few minutes walk. Jamaa El Fna approx. 15 mins away. Spent a few days in August 2021 with a curfew starting at 21. I can't judge if is loud -under normal circumstances, since the other Saadi hotel (Place next door), has a club and a casino. I had a quiet room with pool view, so can`t say, how the other rooms (with street view) are. AC is bad. It is centrally managed and was too cold. I caught a cold after 2 days. Restaurant is really bad. I had a Tagine with prunes the first evening, which was pre-cooked in a big pot, then served in a Tagine. It had no taste and 3/4 of the meat were bones! The next day, I ordered a French dish (filet de Lotte). that was a real disaster. The fish had no taste, and I did not know if it was cocked, fried or steamed. The fish was served with Tagliatelle, which had no sauce, no spices, nothing, just plain pasta. It all tasted like hospital food. This would not be an issue if this was a simple place in the medina, but we are talking about a hotel restaurant that has prices like any other posh or gastronomic restaurant in Marrakesh. The service in the restaurant is poor. The "maître", the waiters, everyone will speak to you in French regardless of the language you speak. While I understand that people struggle with English, Italian or other languages, but it shocked me, when I spoke Moroccan to these folks, and they would ALWAYS answer in French! I wonder if the hotel director - who I think is French- would feel, when they spend their holidays in Cannes or so and when people would speak Spanish or Portuguese to them. Really strange, not to say rude and unfriendly. Really weird when you consider that the Moroccan authorities been encouraging the diaspora Moroccans to spend their summer holidays in Morocco to help boost the economy, specifically tourism... and then you face this! The service at the pool bar was good. Friendly, always there to serve. Etc. The best and smartest people in this hotel are the cleaning clerk. They obviously have the guests’ names and when they come across you in the morning, they greet you nicely, call you by your name, wish you a good morning and "an enlightened day"...and what have you. Not that I need to be called by my name, but it shows you that these guys do what they can to make you feel good and of course to get some tip, which in their case was generous.

Decent and comfortable

Average hotel. Friendly staff but hardly speak English so very challenging to get things done. AC is awful as flow is centrally regulated across all rooms so very annoying as youre stuck with the same temp and cannot be changed. Very expensive when food and drink is not part of the package.
