This spa complex is situated in the new hotel area of Marrakech city known as Agdal. The hotel is conveniently close to the Palais Royal, the Kasbah and the famous Pacha club. The famous square of Djemaa el Fna is also just minutes away from the hotel, and the centre of Gueliz is 2 kms away. The air- conditioned establishment offers a diversity of facilities to satisfy both children and adults, business and leisure travellers alike. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious international and Moroccan dishes at the in-house restaurant. This club resort features a very traditional style, and the i...More details

Buffet meals are very good, some other amenities, not so much

We stayed here while I attended a conference. The rates were excellent so I shouldn't complain too much. I did enjoy the fine buffet breakfasts and dinners, and also the tasty items in the hotel's other restaurant. The lobby is lovely, as is the pool area and the patio of the main restaurant. The guest room was of good size, with a flat-screen TV, nice bathroom and shampoo, etc. I took advantage of the free shuttle service to the city's sook area. The service was good and staff courteous and helpful (tho don't expect them to speak English). My two biggest complaints are (1) the uncomfortable bed - too hard, and (2) the terrible internet service -- I had to go to the lobby or central hub to get good service. I could add that there is only one working elevator, which is small, but, really, the whole week I never had to wait long for it.
Tourist Hotel with limited charm

I spent ONEE night and was happy that it was the only one. Hotel is not very charming, old floor carpets, smelling bathroom, no bar, far away from down-town, close to the entry lane of the Marrakesh-Airport.
Didn’t meet expectations

They claim on Booking.com to offer an airport shuttle bus service. This is a lie. They don’t have an airport shuttle. The hotel ignored several of my attempts to get in touch with them by email and Facebook message prior to my stay to confirm my booking. There was no hairdryer in my room and I got a cold as a result of sleeping with a wet head. I was short-changed by 10 dirham in the restaurant...I didn’t bother mentioning it to them...I was going to leave a tip but decided that was going to be the tip. I was charged 66 dirham by hotel when I arrived for a ‘tourist tax’. This was not optional so it should have either been included in the original price, or mentioned at the booking stage however it was not. Apart from the above, the hotel ‘did what it said on the tin’.
No thanks, nop nop nop

Pros: clean swimming pool, breakfast Cons: Absolutely everything else I'll start with the easy part, the pros. It's great to have an available swimming pool at the hotel at 40ºC. Also the breakfast was great. That's it! Our nightmare started at the arrival, when trying to check in and see that our only request, to have a double bed, was not possible and they did nothing about it, not even apologize, just wave at me a paper where it was stated that "special requests" (I don't see how choosing a double bed room can be considered special) were not guaranteed. I did the reservation the day before by phone directly with the central of Mogador hotels in Morocco and was my only request. When this happened at the hotel, I called their call center where I did the reservation and they said that it wasn't acceptable, there was nothing they could do but to escalate my complaint (one week after I haven't been contacted by them at all). The hotel is quite old, not very clean, most of the property is full of broken things, even at the room (I'll add photos here on Google), the receptionists where impolite and made us feel we were invisible on checkin, there are only 2 lifts and 1 was out of service while the other one was frequently being used by the hotel staff, so most of the time we have to use the stairs. Also another important factor to NOT consider this hotel or any nearby is the fact that it's not even near the city, this is an abandoned so called "touristic area" where there is absolutely NOTHING but the hotels, not even taxis, so it's very difficult and expensive to get there and go anywhere else from there. Although I must say that the hotel has a free shuttle bus every 2 hours which could be useful. Be careful when doing your reservation! they may persuade you to do it directly with them as you could save a couple euros, but it's not worth it, then you can't leave a feedback in Booking.com, where I saw the hotel profile and seemed great, now I can't leave a realistic up to date feedback for other potential guests to be warned. Also while reserving with them, they may offer you the pool view for a few more Euros, that's just a scam, first of all it's not worth it, and second, you can have it anyway for free when checking at the hotel. Also it was unbelievable how the hotel allows their store at the hall to sell counterfait products, they sold me a swimmsuit that was supposed to be from Zara, they said it was original and the price was 200Dh. It was obviously fake, but the price was like the originals, that's for sure. I'd recommend to anybody NOT to go to this or any hotel in this area, just pick one of the other hundreds options available at the city center for better prices, even though it's much likely not to have a swimming pool.

I stayed here in sept and I have to say it was a good choice . The pool is amazing and the pool service menu was really good ( try the chicken pizza ) I had the street view so I got the best sun set views . I had read bad reviews about service at reception but I found them really nice and helpful . The breakfast was mostly fruit and cakes . You can eat breakfast looking over the pool which is quit chilled .
