Worst staff ever

We booked this riad during our stay in Marrakech for the bath. Spend 3 hours looking for the place as the location is faulty on all maps. Eventually we went back to our old riad as we could not contact nadia or the general number. (I even asked my family to try and contact them to make sure weve tried everything) Our old riad eventually talked to nadia who send someone to pick us up. After walking to a complete different location as listed (the guy said that was simply marrakech and maps dont work here, which is bs cause weve found everything through maps.me, this was the only place that was unfindable) we arrived. We booked the junior suite as the pictures and info said it has a bath. It did not. Asked the staff about it and he did not know what to say but every other room was booked. Room was spacious but there was no toilet paper, bed was full of hairs from previous guests and the warm water was barely working. Next morning we woke up a little late as we were exhausted from walking the previous day. I got downstairs at 9:30 and tried to find someone to inquire about breakfast. After spending 20 mins exploring every room ( apparantly we were the only guests, but no room had a bath) i found one constructer working but no staff. At this point I decided to just pack our bags and get out, as I saw the staff was still sleeping. When we cane down with our bags the guy quickly had woken up and had the bill ready, I tried to confront him about the breakfast/bath and stuff like that. The reaction was, YOU WANT BREAKFAST??! I MAKE YOU BREAKFAST. Decided to pay the bill asap and get out of there. Worst night in marrakech, do not go here.
Very peaceful and comfortable stay

I stayed here as a lone traveller for 6 nights. The room was comfortable and the Riad was extremely peaceful. I cannot fault much with my stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The small pool was refreshing and well maintained. And the breakfast was good and filling. It is a beautiful building and shady and quite. A world away from the noise and heat of Marrakesh. Lovely roof terrace too for a bit of sun. It is truly tucked away and difficult to find. It is about 15 mins walk to the main square and is close to the leather quarter. I would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Marrakesh.
Will happily go back

We spent 4 great days in the Hadika Maria Riad, enjoying the great weather, the peaceful riad and friendly staff. Abdellah has welcomed us despite a very late arrival, and made sure our installation would be least tiring, and Nadia has provided us with the necessary information to help us find our way in old medina maze ( we still got lost a couple of timea, especially at night). The wifi was not working well, but on the plus side, it helped us get immersed in the excentric experoence of Hadika Maria. Last but not least the breakfast and sunny garden view were a real treat! Will gladly go back.

We had a perfect stay at Hadika Maria. The pool was very (!) refreshing, service was good and especially the roof top was lovely to have a sunny breakfast or to read a book, it felt very private as it wasn't busy when we were there!
Oasis of calm

Having never visited Marrakech before, this Riad was everything we expected and more. It was very difficult to find ! but there is no end of young men keen to help guide you there for a few dirhams ( well more than a few if you let them - and they will also assist with finding a cash machine should you not have any money !). Finding your Riad is part of the whole Marrakech experience, and it IS an experience not just a holiday. We only had breakfast there which was basic, bread, jam, pancakes, etc. They do ask if you want an evening meal. We didn't, but by 6.00pm you are glad to be back for some peace and quiet and as finding your way back in the dark is not too easy I would suggest an evening meal at least once would be good. Breakfast ladies are lovely I suspect meal would be lovely too having seen them polishing there beautiful silverware. Thank you to Youseff for bringing us in a 'takeaway' ! and putting up with our hilarity. The Riad does sell wine and beer, we took some with us from UK and took a taxi to Carrefour supermarket outside town, 50Dirhams, to stock up with more. They didn't mind us drinking our own alcohol there. Be careful to lift cover on drainhole in shower ! we had small flood because we didn't know to do this. Sorry Nadia ! Riad was quiet had it to ourselves mainly. Had guided tour of Riad, some beautiful hidden rooms, initially we had small double on ground floor by pool and we upgrdaded ourselves to a larger one on second floor for two nights. All in all great fun, lots of walking, lovely Riad, beautiful weather, lovely people. Enjoy.
