The bathroom door croaks as it closes or opens. Furniture is very outdated and stinks mildew. The bathroom fan sounds horrible, the carpets are not clean. We're very disappointed in our stay here. The doors are all scuffed and the door to the hallway has punch marks in it. Reminds me of the $16 dollar a night hotels from the 80's, but it's far more expensive than that. We will not stay here again ever.Very limited in plugs or outlets for electronics. They clean only once every 5 days. We were here for 4 days.

This hotel was almost perfect in every way. I got an oceanfront room on the 3rd floor with 2 queen beds. The room also has a sofa bed and a balcony with two chairs and a little table. They put towels for four people. The view of the ocean is not as great as on the top floor but still nice. The room has a microwave, oven, fridge, toaster and pots, pans and dishwasher. They provide pods for the dishwasher and dish soap for dishes. We used the fridge, but nothing else. You get to see the pool and pool bar from the room. There is a game room, but it only has arcade games and is fairly small. I would’ve hoped for something with a table tennis table or something like that for rainy days to keep the kids occupied. Having said that, there is an indoor pool, which will keep the kids occupied. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel that is open for breakfast and dinner, and the poolside bar serves things like BLTs, nachos, burgers, hot dogs. There is a bar in the pool where you can sit on benches in the water and enjoy a drink. There is a short walk to the beach. It’s true the hotel looks a little dated, but then so does my house. There are multiple great bars & restaurants and a grocery store almost directly across the street, all within walking distance. The hotel was very responsive to any requests. F.eg.,I called because they were out of towels at the pool ( some people had 2 or 3 on a bed, and were nowhere to be seen), and they soon brought more. There are plenty of sunning beds and hammocks for everyone around the pool. So even though some people put their stuff on a bed and disappear for the day, there are still enough beds. There were 2 things that made my stay imperfect, but the hotel could not control either. 1) There are these attacking flies all over Ocean City that bite. 2) The water temperature in the ocean and pool was much colder than Florida or Texas. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will definitely be back. The value for what we paid was great.

I never leave reviews but here goes. I walked in room which had damp dirty carpet which turned feet black. All the drawers stay open because furniture is warped. Sofa and comforter stained. Every chair stained. Mouse in room. I was offered to switch the NEXT day, but I’d have to wait until after 11am, to find another room and then move all my things instead of enjoying a beach day. I was offered a 90 credit. I will say the staff is nice and pleasant and it’s not their fault that staffing is low due to COVID. BUT, I spent $1100 for three days in a dirty room. I also was afraid to change rooms since people were complaining their AC didn’t work. I’d never stay here again. I can’t wait to be home!
Dingy and disorganized

Where to start...first of all, we arrived about 30 mins before the 4 PM check-in. Checked in, got told they'd give us a call when the room was ready. No problem. Checked back closer to 4, room still not ready. Room wasn't ready until about 4:30. Fine. When we did finally get into the room, the first thing we noticed was the SMELL - like the cleaning crew used old, dirty water. And then there were bugs everywhere - not just flying ones that you might expect if the sliding glass door was open, but crawling ones. And we were on the top floor. Gross.
The bathroom sink looked like it'd be renovated but that's it - the shower was moldy, the tub was gross with old sand and dirt - we wore flip flops when showering. The bed was OK - not too firm, not too soft - but the pillows were miserable. So worn out and under-stuffed I felt like I wasn't sleeping on a pillow at all. And they smelled, too! Like saliva - as if the pillows had NEVER been changed out and I was smelling previous guests' drool.
The balcony is nice - we were in the part of the hotel with a full unobstructed view of the ocean, which was lovely. That's about the best part of the room. The balcony and the view.
We didn't even try the restaurant - Touch of Italy - so I can't speak to it, but it's the ONLY food option available on site. No convenience store, no coffee, you're basically stuck walking over to Dunkin Donuts across the street if you want coffee and other nearby, fast breakfast options - we did try to make it to the in-house breakfast but we were told it'd be a 10 minute wait because they needed to clear some tables. We went to DD instead.
To get a refill of towels or amenities, you have to call the front desk. And then be prepared to wait a couple hours. We asked for sheets to be changed after 2 nights - asked the front desk when we were leaving for dinner (about 6 PM), discovered nothing had been done in our room when we returned (about 9 PM).
We also saw that housekeeping staff was not wearing masks, staff wasn't wearing masks - I get people are vaccinated now but the Delta variant is still raging.
We planned for 3 nights, but after 2 nights of dirty, disorganized and disappointing, we checked out a night early. I have never been so happy to sleep in my own clean bed.
This place is WAY too expensive for what it offers - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THIS PLACE ISN'T WORTH IT.

I have stayed at this hotel 9 times over the last 20 years. This will be the last time I stay here.
The rug was so dirty our feet turned black.
The pots and pans were dirty. The kitchen cabinets were greasy and sticky. I needed to clean the tub before I took a shower. there was sand in the tub and thru out the room. The rooms temp upon checkin was 80 degrees, Maintenance told me there was nothing that could be done. We were given a filthy portable fan to use. The temp took 2 days to reach 72 degrees. The bathroom by the lobby was disgusting. We requested housekeeping 2 of the 5 days we were there, waited all day both times. Our room ran out of toilet paper. We asked for fresh towels, never got them. Garbage was over flowing. We essentially paid a good deal of money to clean our own room. The bushes outside my garden view room were full full of garbage. The pool area had garbage under the lounge chairs, including dirty diapers. This hotel was disgusting
