Excellent hotel, the best place in Massa Maritima
Prato a Baldo is a wonderful small hotel, the best we ever stayed. We spent 10 days there and we did not want to leave. If you like small, cozy, quite places, this hotel is the right address for you This property is really amazing place surrounded by wonderful greenery view. The location is very quiet and relaxing. You may sit on the terrace in front of your room and you hear only the nature. On the other hand it is only 30-40 Minutes’ walk from the hotel to the centrum of Massa Maritima (apport.2,5 km). Rooms are very nice with big bathroom, tastefully and modern decorated, very clean, there is everything, what you may need. Every room has a nice private terrace. The hotel pool is quite large, clean, located in the beautiful garden with many flowers. The meal in the hotel is really delicious. The breakfast buffet is perfect, there is large choice of everything with tasteful local products and homemade cakes. Sometimes we took the dinner there. The food was delicious, real Italian food, the best we ate in Massa Maritima. I recommend to taste home-made lemon liqueur made by the owner themselves. WiFi is working very good everywhere. Cats and dogs are friendly, living in the nature closed to the hotel, not disturbing anybody. Last but not least, the owners (Massimiliano and Leila) and all staff are very friendly, kind, helpful, they gave us a lot of tips, where to go, what to see etc. You have the feeling, you are not only guest, but you are part of the family. Thank you very much for the great holidays! We hope to come back again soon.
Idyllic, great for families and to relax
This place is a dream! We planned to spend two nights here and visit Florence, Pisa and Siena during the day. The place is so, so beautiful and relaxing that we decided to skip most of our daytime trips and spend our days exploring the area, swimming in the pool, and eating fresh fruits from the garden, homemade olive oil and liqueur, and other delicious food. The owner and staff are kind and attentive. The rooms are truly beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful, dreamlike tuscan getaway
This is an amazing place to stay. There is a gorgeous pool, the food was excellent, fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden, figs from the tree still warm on the inside from the Tuscan sun. Olive oil made by the owner from home grown olives. Meals shared outdoors around a farm table. Adorable dogs and friendly cats. Charming, friendly owner and an attentive staff. Air conditioned rooms with rustic vibes. There are beautiful hikes around the property and up to nearby towns. Overall, a great stay, wish we could stay longer than we could and definitely recommend to everyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful Tuscan summer!

Prato a Baldo is a wonderful place, the location is immersed in nature and close to lovely Massa Marittima. The room was clean and cozy, the food authentic and tasty. The hosts (Massimiliano, Leila and Corrado) were the best part: friendly, discrete and incredibly kind! Absolutely recommended!
Great agriturismo
Lovely place in a heart of vineyards & Olive fields. Your host did everything to make our stay pleasant. The place itself is well taken care of. Room and beds are very comfortable and should you choose to have your diner, prepare your stomach and tongue. It is generous and tasty. 5min driving from downtown Massa Marittima. It is one of the best price-quality ratio we have had during our journey.
