Great Place to stay.

Laura Navarro was great in helping me ge to the local orphanage we support and planing day trips. Our maid was great and the night manager was always very helpful. The staff does a great job. We have been staying there for over 20 years.

Loud, noisy and crowded

Excellent view from the 8th floor and good service; other than that old hotel, very loud music in pool area; targets very large Mexican families so the small pool is too crowded; the elevator is terrible. A hotel for locals , definitely not for most US and Canadian tourists

my stay at costa de oro

Reviewed 14 july, 2022

it was very nice hotel except for the music at the pool, which was deafening. Very clean and centrally located. Big Big shout out to my friend Laura, the beautiful and super helpful concierge. She went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. Can't even begin to describe how great she was.. Honorable mention mention to so many others especially Christian the bellman. He also went out of his way to help me. Whatever they are getting paid, it's not enough. give them a raise please. I recommend this hotel on the beach to all.

Nice to be back!

I have been an owner here for almost 20 years and I am always happy to arrive and sad to leave. Had to skip the last two years due to Covid. Pool side service is great and prices are still reasonable. Worked with Laura the concierge and she did a great job arranging a trip to Deer Island for us as well as our Covid testing. She was a pleasure to work with and look forward to seeing her next year.
