I really have NOTHING positive to say about my experience at this ghetto place!! From checkin to now this morning has been a horrendous experience! I realize we had the choice to go elsewhere but time did not allow us to as we had an engagement to get dressed for. They have the nerve to charge like a 4 star hotel- I am truly owed money back!! 1. Upon checkin- the guy stopped in the middle of my process to go to his car which was parked right at the entrance door to retrieve his cap and a mask!! The mask he should’ve had on in the first place. Upon returning back to the counter he told me that I removed my card too soon, when it clearly said in the screen Remove Card! He asked that I slide it which resulted in my card being dinged twice for $234!! When I told him that he said, oh it’s just an authorization. DUH!!! I know it’s an authorization but I wasn’t trying to have you authorize my card for $500!! Oh and I did I mention he said it would be a $150 additional deposit!! At a freaking Comfort Suites?????? Again pressed for time we had no choice but to continue with this process. 2. After checking in, we proceed to the elevator that they knew was inoperable!!!! There were 2 ladies standing near filling a snack station. I asked them if there was an issue with the elevator. The white lady said oh yes we’ve called someone. Why the heck wouldn’t you tell a guest that who is checking in??? She said oh but 1 is working. 1 was not working. She and the other lady who I noticed to be the housekeeping manager continued talking and putting out snacks. I had to loudly say, so what are we supposed to do to get to our room?!?!?!?? She said oh there are stairs on each end and someone was coming to fix the elevators!! I was floored. I’m an older woman with severely arthritic knees and we had some heavy bags. No offer for a lower floor, no apology, no assistance with luggage- just nothing!! Being on the 2nd floor, I took my time getting up the stairs and had to make 2 trips to get my bags. I was surely steaming with anger. 3. We get in room and it was very obvious that instead of sticking snacks, the housekeeping manager should’ve been making sure the rooms were clean!! All over the carpet and floors in our room was smashed up red Cheetos!!! I kid you knot. At first it looked like blood stains but upon closer look, it was red Cheetos!! We put down the towels so we wouldn’t step on them. Secondly when brushing our teeth, the sink is stopped up and has a very slow drain. The water eventually goes down but very slow. I told my wife let’s just go to our event, and get the heck out of here first thing in the morning. 4. Now it’s morning. I get up to brush teeth and notice the bill had been placed under the door. What modern hotel does that anymore??? Anyway, I go down to get coffee to be told the coffee machine is broken!!! WTF?!?!?!?? You have a whole hotel that you charge $200/night for a broken elevator and a broken coffee machine??? No one thought to go to Walmart to buy temporary Kureig or some type of coffee????? The machine had out of order sign on it. I have never in my life of traveling seen anything so antiquated at a modern hotel!! My wife and I are travel agents and we travel extensively. I would NEVER suggest anyone with any good sense stay at Comfort Suites in McDonough!!! I will be reaching out to the corporate office regarding my horrendous experience here. They need to refund us ours money!! If there was a way to rate this ghetto trap as under a 1, I would have gladly done it. Buyer Beware!
First Visit, we will return

The Choice Hotel line has been making a serious effort to upgrade their Comfort Suite locations and it shows here. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Plenty of clearance for the mobility challenged. The bed was comfortable. The only compliant we had was the "inaccessible" wall mounted thermostat, in an otherwise "Accessible" unit. It was located rather high on the wall and BEHIND the TV. Breakfast was handled a little differently here. A voucher ticket was given to the attendant, and a hot meal of eggs, biscuit, sausage, and hash browns was brought out. That, along with quite the selection of cold items made for a very tasty and filling repast.

Nice hotel. I did find coiled black hair in my bed when I turned the covers back . The sheets were discolored like maybe the red stains didn't come out with washing. Anyway housekeeping was down the hall so I just asked for new sheets and changed the bed myself. The other bed was fine. Overall the room was clean. I spray everything down with lysol anyway. Staff friendly. Check-in was smooth. I didn't eat breakfast but went down for coffee, again staff was nice. I will stay here again.
Best hotel I stayed at on my trip

Such a comfortable stay. Bed was great and they had feather free pillows!! Marcus, Scott, Kianna and Jessica (really everyone) were so helpful and genuinely nice. I usually stay at Hiltons and Marriot but this hotel was the best in my trip. We enjoyed the pool time to ourselves since due to Covid you have to reserve and it it was great temperature and clean. Always enough pool towels for use. A hot breakfast was provided in take out containers due to Covid and delicious. Grab and go options were awesome. It is about a 35 min ride to downtown theres alot of dining options nearby. You will not regret your stay.
Very nice place

This was a great property. Check in/check out was a breeze. The price/night was very affordable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. They offered a complimentary hot breakfast, pool(we didn't use) and on site parking. It was clean and nicely decorated. It's close to dining for all levels (family, fine dining, fast food). There is also shopping near by. I've been told by family that downtown ATL is about a 45 min drive with heavy traffic. There are snacks and beverages available for sale at the front desk. We would book here again. For the price we paid, this was a great find
