This property was listed as "pet friendly" and when we booked the suite, there was no mention of additional pet fees. Upon arrival -- after being stuck in traffic on I-75 for hours in the rain and dark--we were informed we would be charged $150 "Pet Fee', nonrefundable. We paid, simply because of the nightmare on I-75, but we will never again book a Residence Inn -- or Marriott. This was misleading at best and totally false advertising at worst.
Had to stop I75 S accidents
Unfortunately due to extremely bad weather and multiple accidents we had no choice but to stop. As Ambassadors, our Marriott options were limited. Our room was dirty, the floors looked as is if they had not been cleaned, sheets looked like they had been slept on by a prior guest, the couch smelled awful, and overall, I was extremely uncomfortable having to stay the night here. While I am thankful we were able to find a room on such short notice I would never recommend this hotel.
Zaid is the best !!
Great housekeeping! Zaid has a great attitude and will get anything you need no problem. I’ll definitely be returning. He is very welcoming and friendly. Our stay here was great because he made sure we were comfortable with asking him for anything. We’ve never come across a worker who genuinely looked like they were happy to help us.
$150 Non-refundable Pet Fee
We recently booked a suite online at this hotel that advertised as “pet friendly.” The total online for my stay was listed at $130.00. including taxes for one night. Upon arrival, we were told there was an additional $150.00 non refundable pet fee. This was unexpected and we would never have reserved the room or stayed at this hotel had we known. We did pay because it was late and we had no other options. We did search the website and finally found the fee listed, however the owners clearly do not advertise this fee. They know no one would reserve a room if they are given this info up front. Absolutely not pet friendly. You pay double at this hotel if you’re traveling with a pet.
Awesome and super clean
This hotel has only been open for 11 months. It still looks brand new. The 1 bedroom (2 queen beds) suite we had was very clean with a mini kitchen AND a kitchen table! I hate eating on the bed and I didn't have to! Loved this place. I'm not a huge hotel fan (just prefer my own bed), but this was the bomb!
