Advertising rooms that weren't available and poor customer service.

Booked an executive room through Opodo which advertised a soundproofed room on the top floor and a balcony/view. That's not what we got when we arrived and the hotel had never heard of Opodo. No refund of the premium we paid was offered, nor a solution. The hotel's point of view was that they had no dealings with Opodo. (Er, how did you get our reservation and payment then?!)

Four Star

Reviewed 1 july, 2021

On a steet full -- full -- of hotels, this thing apparently is the only one that calls itself four star and that seems to be all it takes to attract a clientele. It is busy, noisy, crowded -- in no way conducive to a relaxed experience. Checking in and out is an ordeal. Not only does no one get their room before 3 pm check-in, they keep you waiting well beyond, meanwhile guests still haven't checked out. A bad show all around. Rooms show wear from heavy usage and rooms in front get the street noise. An abundance of hotel options on this street. No need to make an advance reservation, especially at this one.

Stay At your Own Risk

Reviewed 2 january, 2020

This Hotel was centrally located in a local downtown like feel. Also it is secure with an armed guard and a gated parking lot and very family friendly, our children were free to run about and socialize openly and boisterously with other guest children in lobby area. The property itself is clean and the view on the top floor is very nice, you can get a view of the city. The downside however is the staff, food and accommodations. My husband, daughter and mother in law got food poisoning from the breakfast. Also the beds were so hard one night we opted to sleep on the floor the last night rather than let the hotel staff know about our displeasure than endure the eye rolls and ill mannered attitudes of the front desk staff especially since they gave us grief about requesting rooms on the same floor since they have a two person a room policy and tried to make us get another room to put my 11 year old son and eight year old daughter on another floor. They were really incompetent with check in and checking out, literally stopping to have private conversations with friends that walked in on the street when we were checking in. This hotel is very poorly ran. Staff NEEDS hospitality training and just basic integrity since they were found in several little white lies. NEEDS New Staff, Health Inspections and Better beds. To eat you have to get a ticket from sassy front desk attendants that may or may not be in a good mood when asking for this ticket. We will NEVER stay here again and will NEVER recommend that anyone else does.

Good Stay

Reviewed 1 august, 2019

This hotel was good. It had all the amenities that made the stay comfortable. I stayed in a double room and it was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were on the firm side but it really wasn't as bad as some of the other comments made it out to be. I slept well. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. I wasn't impressed by the breakfast, it was basic. I requested an iron and got it within 10 mins with a tiny iron board. They have security throughout the night and the overall property was clean. The location was perfect; clubs, bars, and restaurants in every direction. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hassle-free stay and a great location.

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient

Reviewed 21 june, 2019

Room is good size and bed is firm. Very clean. Lots of restaurants, shops within walking distance, near Metro. Free WiFi and breakfast (few choices but ok). Downside is few staff spoke English, and no safe in room. Have to request extra hand towels. Overall good value. Would return. Rooms facing street more noisy. Higher floors quieter. Rooftop very beautiful night view of Medellin.
