We stayed there for 5 days. Room was clean but to our surprise corridor smells like cigarettes all the time while rooms are Non smoking. Our room was almost at the end of the corridor and it was very difficult to cross the corridor. Corridor was the most dirtiest place in the hotel. Dirty carpet and smell all over the place. We booked this hotel because they had pool but we find that it was closed due to renovations. We find this place a little pricy in the category as they are not giving free breakfast or shuttle service.

Sub-par motel in a unsafe area

Save yourself some money and drive down the road! Mattresses that are way past their prime, AC that has a mind of its own.(had to get it working on my own because No one was on duty when I checked in to look at it) The smell of marijuana in the carpet stain hallway.. and to top it off my vehicle was broken into. I'm a Spire Elite member with IHG , which means I spend a lot money and get little in return! Will never stay in another Candlewood Suite again!

You can do better than this, Candlewood

One night stay while passing through. Nothing special about the room. Everything felt damp and we had to run the heat for a while to dry it out. The wall around the a/c unit looked had been repaired and not very well. More like something you'd see in an America's Best Value hotel... As an IHG gold member, I never would have expected this to be one of their hotels. We're through Germantown often, but will not be stopping here again.

Awful

Reviewed 28 may, 2017

We have stayed at Candlewood Suites on several occasions, but I'm not sure we ever will again. We didn't have hot water all weekend and all the front desk would tell us was that the water just doesn't get very hot. We had leftover food in the refridgerator that was left by the previous visitors. We were awakened by police trying to enter the facility at 4:00 a.m. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff didn't bother to offer any type of apology. Pitiful!! We were there with a big group. Some were offered a discount, but others were just sent on our way. I would not recommend this place at all. Everyone checked out a day early with the exception of one family who got their rooms paid for for screwing up the charge on their credit card. Awful!!

2 day stay

The hotel lobby looks good. We didn't have any reservations but we were able to get a double bed room. My husband said he stayed here a few years back. It looks like they updated it. Our room has a kitchen that you can cook in. An electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, kitchen sink. It has a good sized bathroom, shower and tub. Has cable tv. Has Internet but we have trouble connecting to it. They have a pool but it is being renovated right now. The front desk clerk said they have a washer and drier for free but we need to get the detergent soap. They don't have free breakfast but they have free coffee. They have a little store in the lobby but of course the prices on the items are expensive. Like a pint of blue bell ice cream is $5, a Klondike bar is $1.50. There are a lot of commercial areas nearby so if you are going to stay here for a few days it would be better to buy groceries and then just bring it to the hotel. There are restaurants and strip malls nearby about 5 minutes away.
