Hotel was very clean, the breakfast was filling and staff there were friendly. The main desk personnel were knowledgeable and friendly. They seems to genuinely care that the stay was enjoyable for all their guests.

Loud, Freezing, and Filthy

We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a long drive from Nashville. I entered the room I had been assigned only to be greeted by a loud barking dog. The dog did not stop barking for even a minute while I was in the room so I felt I needed to go to the front desk and be moved lest it continue into sleeping hours. There was also a giant HVAC unit that was very loud outside the window. The second room I was assigned the keys never worked and I couldn’t get into the room even after they tried resetting the keys multiple times. The final room I was in I accepted just because it was getting ridiculous at this point not being able to get a decent room. There were numerous maintenance issues in this room. The main light flipped on and off by itself every 9 seconds. The air conditioning could not be turned off by any means. It was only 50/60 degrees out, why was the A/C on at all? I tried to turn it up to a high temperature so it would shut off. That didn’t work. I tried to turn the whole thermostat off. That didn’t work. I tried to turn the heat on instead and it smelled like I was about to burn the hotel down. I had to sleep in my coat. The toiletries in this room were different from the first room – there was just a bunch of shampoo, no conditioner. I also could only access the WiFi by using the original room number – so I don’t know if the hotel ever actually updated what room I ended up in. The room also had significant cleanliness issues. I found a price tag for clothing on the floor and then numerous large crumbs throughout. It was clear that no one vacuumed in between guests. The worst part was when I took my socks off to go to bed. I only walked about 6 steps from my suitcase to the bed and my feet were covered in crumbs/debris to the point that I actually had to go wash my feet and then carry the towel over to the bed with me just to clean off the junk that I picked up walking barefoot across the room a second time. In the morning, I went to open the curtains to enjoy the view and there was a huge greasy forehead mark on one pane and handprints all over the other. Another thing that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Breakfast was a joke. There was a sign up warning about food shortages, but that doesn’t mean its ok to not refill anything. I got to breakfast ten minutes after it opened and half the hot options were already picked clean with staff walking around aimlessly instead of refilling the buffet. Overall the only positive about this hotel was the location. Everything else fell far too short in my opinion. Dirty rooms are not acceptable regardless of staffing issues. Anyone can vacuum.

Convenient but

Room was very clean, and looked like time was spent on sanitizing, but I still don't trust drinking cups that are not sealed in plastic... in this hotel the set cups directly on the bathroom sink (bottom-up). I would like this before covid, don't accept it today. The Kueric coffee cups were not sealed either, maybe they were used, but I had to wait for coffee in the dining area. (I am not sure why but I had trouble finding a working outlet near my bed). Hotel's restaurant lacks good management. It's not up to Hilton standards. Flimsy plastic wear, dirty tables, dirty dishes with un-eaten food lined the counters where food was being served, sticky counters, spilt creamer at the coffee station looked like it had been there all morning, and staff seemed overwhelmed with no management in sight. If I had more time, I would have eaten on Beal street which is very convent to the hotel.

GREAT STAY

This is a great hotel! We would like to highlight Antonio Pittman. Breakfast was sufficient. Overall this is a great hotel and We would definitely stay here again! Antonio Pittman was very professional and displayed exceptional courtesy. Antonio made sure we had all that was needed to ensure a comfortable stay. Good Job Antonio, keep up the great work.

this hotel was perfect, perfect spot, its was beautiful and clean and the staff was excellent and super friendly. would def recommend this hotel to someone and prob will stay here in the future!!! thanks so much for your dedication to making your guests feel so welcome
