We stayed one night. The girl at the front desk when I checked in was friendly and businesslike.
The room was nice, bed was comfortable, clean, no bedbugs, roaches or other bugs in the room.
They only left a tiny bar of soap
The only complaint I had was the price. Online , google maps , at the hotels website, not a 3rd party, it has a price for AARP & Seniors. The girl at the front desk would not honor that price, so we paid an additional $25 plus taxes for the room.

We stayed August 4-8, 2021.
We have family in Mississippi and when visiting, we have decided that the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Meridian is the place to stay. Even though the family lives an hour away, this hotel is the best we found and the daily drive to the family homes is worth staying here. The property is kept exceptionally clean which is a HUGE factor for me. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Two staff really stood out. Cantea and Leandra. I can’t remember who was who but one worked the front desk AND was constantly cleaning the lobby because guests were leaving breakfast and making messes on their way out. The other seemed to be the manager and was extremely efficient, courteous and friendly. Her professionalism was top notch!
The room was spacious and clean! The place is kept up and immaculate (including the parking lot). The breakfast is an unbeatable bargain and the pool is pristine. I could add pictures but they would be duplicates of the ones posted on their website. There is no “bait and switch” here. I highly recommend!
Bed bugs room 123... disappointing service...no compensation

Came to Meridian for a week to work at the hospital. Initial check in fine, lobby clean, woke up to bugs in my bed. Bugs were alive and on the pillows.
Initial communications with the hotel GM were appropriate, room move... Orkin came and inspected room (confirmed no bugs in my suitcase), and I was offered a room move, even some change to wash clothes. Cool, this stuff can happen.
After a long day I get back to the hotel and enter the room get back my sealed suitcase (always zip up your suitcase JIK of something like this)...room is torn apart from inspection still (not cleaned, mattress on floor, etc). Grab the bag, go to front desk and was denied a room move at first saying hotel was full.
I am not going back in that room, that's for sure!
After a while another room is found, felt like their last sell room (loud ac, etc). I Shower, check bed and pillows, pass out.
Reach to GM and asked for some compensation for the trouble (immediately denied and told to contact the person who booked my room...our own company executive assistant)...not good service. Reached to Marriott Corporation, they sent me back to the GM. No compensation offered.

Based on our stay at this hotel and the Fairfield Inn located in Chattanooga, we have decided this is our new “go-to” hotel chain for all future vacations!
Hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and the whole facility is up to date. All the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We asked to be upgraded to a “senior friendly” room although we had not specifically booked a handicap room in advance. They obliged us by finding a room with a really nice walk-in shower rather than a tub. Ours actually had a separate seating area with its own tv and desk. REALLY nice!
We had purchased some large items during our vacation that wouldn’t fit into the cab of our truck and had to remain in the bed unsecured. The desk clerk offered to allow me to store them in an unused conference room overnight for safety. I didn’t even ask, she just noticed them in the truck and offered. Great service!
I woke up way too early the next morning and the overnight desk clerk was happy to make a pot of coffee a couple hours earlier than usual so I wouldn’t wake up my wife using the room coffee pot. Very nice lady. We sat and talked for a while since no one else was awake.
We spent 10 days on the road staying in a total of 4 different hotels during our vacation and this was the only facility that had an open breakfast area. It wasn’t a serve yourself breakfast like hotels were before Covid, but the really nice lady behind the table was serving up hot scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. She of course wore a mask and gloves to serve the food. My wife got toasted bagels with cream cheese for the first time in over a week. She was so happy.
The only problem we had was trying to find the place to begin with. It sits right off the interstate but my Ford GPS took me toward the airport several miles away. Use the directions form he hotel site. Don’t trust your GPS.
Cracker Barrel is right around the corner. That’s always a big plus to me.
Disappointed - covid 19 and breakfast

Stayed 6 November. Nice room and property. Front desk clerk had no mask when we checked in or next morning. Appreciate bringing back breakfast but bacon, eggs but zero bread? Also cereal but no milk? Hotel entry confusing and could be more clearly marked. Finally, room appeared very clean and wife’s bed bug check negative but I got multiple bug bites of some kind. See another guest also had same issue
