Great location in historic center

Reviewed 5 march, 2023

Perfect location for a visit of the historic center. Good breakfast on the terrace to start the day. Recommended. Plenty of food options on the street. Friendly receptionist who speaks English and can give recommendations for what to do in the city.

Must stay in Historico Centro

Reviewed 5 march, 2023

This hotel has been converted from what what was once an old mansion, retaining all the character and charm of that era. The wonderful views ( city and inner courtyard ) lane me smile as I walk down ( or up ) to the espresso machine where I enjoy the satellite radio playing every American ( and UK ) pop song in Spanish better than the original, while I do my work, or sometimes - don’t work. The staff is just fantastic , efficiently answering all my questions, happy to help in any way. I made use of the electronic concierge a few times as well. Received quick and informative answers.

Decent choice in historical district

Reviewed 12 february, 2023

Very well-located near the zocalo, the hotel is an architecturally interesting building, which also contains a hostel. Staff were good, especially Yek at the front desk, and our room was (mostly) quiet - it is an echoey place - and clean.

Perfect location in Mexico City!

Reviewed 8 november, 2022

This is the perfect hotel for exploring Mexico City. We were here for the Dia de los Muertos celebration in 2022 and were so happy with the location and the beautiful hotel. You can get to the Zocalo in just a couple of minutes, as well as the metro. There are lots of museums, restaurants, street food, and other interesting sites within walking distance. It is centrally located in the city for seeing other sites, as well. Our room was nice and clean and we had a small balcony that looked out on the street. Our door also opened out onto the beautiful central courtyard. The free breakfast was nice, including eggs, frijoles, chilaquiles, toast, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee every morning. A slight downside is that breakfast starts an hour later (8 am) on weekends, which means that if you want to enjoy the free breakfast you have to get a slower start on weekends.

Great location in Centro Historico

Reviewed 19 october, 2022

Have been to Mexico City several times and stayed in different places around the city. This time, we wanted to stay in Centro to be able to walk to museums and other historical places. The location of the hotel was perfect. A quick walk to the Zocalo, historic pedestrian streets and other sites. The room was pretty roomy and quiet, even though it was next to the check in area and across from the breakfast area. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Will definitely keep this hotel in mind next time we want to stay in Centro.
